B&H Photo-Video - Refuses Responsibility for Lost Shipment and Blames Customer I am writing to share my extremely negative experience with B&H Photo-Video. I placed an order # 1119064817 which was shipped via FedEx (tracking number # 453872663809). The intended delivery address was a freight forwarder in the US. Despite FedEx officially confirming that my package was lost (support ticket C-190014349 Ref-05072 - I have attached a copy of their confirmation), B&H Photo-Video has repeatedly refused to acknowledge this fact and take responsibility. Their customer service representatives, including Angelica R. and Debra D., have insisted that the package was delivered and signed for, directly contradicting FedEx's statement. Furthermore, the FedEx invoice clearly shows that the package was delivered to a completely different city (New Castle, DE) than the intended shipping address (Wilmington, DE). This further proves that the delivery was not completed as requested. B&H Photo-Video has consistently directed me to resolve the issue with a "freight forwarder," despite the fact that the loss occurred during the initial leg of the shipment handled by FedEx, their chosen carrier. They have shown a complete unwillingness to assist or take any responsibility for a lost package that was never delivered to the correct address. Their customer service has been unhelpful, contradictory, and frankly, dishonest in their claims about the delivery status. This has been an incredibly frustrating and time-consuming experience. I strongly advise potential buyers to exercise extreme caution when ordering from B&H Photo-Video, especially if you are an international customer using a freight forwarder. Their lack of support and refusal to take responsibility for shipping errors is appalling. I am currently pursuing a dispute with my payment provider and have filed complaints with consumer protection agencies regarding this unacceptable business practice.

The Worst Customer Experience of My Life I’ve had the most appalling experience with B&H Photo and Video. Let me break it down step by step: **Printer #1:** This was not a cheap printer—it was a $2,000 investment. It arrived in a heavily damaged box that looked like it had fallen off a truck. They sent one person to deliver it, despite the fact that it takes two people to carry it into an office. After setting it up, the screen failed almost immediately. I had to pack it all back up and return it. **Printer #2:** The replacement printer arrived while I was on vacation. My assistant sent photos, and it was déjà vu—the box was destroyed again. After unpacking, we discovered the doors were damaged. It was repacked and returned as well. **The Ink Debacle:** My assistant did not include the ink in the return because it was leaking badly. I immediately reached out to B&H to ask how to return the ink properly, but they ignored my emails for weeks. Eventually, I was told that I wouldn’t receive a refund because the ink and power cord were not in the box. Let me clarify: 1. **The Ink**: I informed them multiple times that the ink was leaking and couldn’t be included. 2. **The Power Cord**: It was included in the return, but apparently, they don’t trust their own customers. After weeks of back-and-forth, they had the audacity to tell me they would deduct shipping costs from my refund. Why am I, the customer, responsible for shipping costs caused by their negligence? To make matters worse, their response was that “their hands are tied.” This company’s refusal to take accountability for their mistakes is astonishing. Their lack of concern, dismissive attitude, and complete failure to address these issues have made this the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. I will never buy from B&H Photo and Video again, and I strongly urge others to avoid this company. If you value your time, money, and sanity, take your business elsewhere.

Just Terrible TL;DR Their shipping vendor attempted to deliver massively late, package refused. B&H reps repeatedly gave incorrect/inconsistent information. Thirty days later their vendor has the package and they have the money. They refuse to help until I falsely report the issue is resolved to PayPal. Update: Their reply just shows how disconnected they are. First, didn’t file a chargeback. Second, As noted in this very review, their shipper won’t send it until they contact them. Yet, they’re waiting for the package. -- Attempted to purchase a MacBook Pro from them. When their vendor didn’t deliver it in the specified time frame I waited several more days to no avail and here’s where B&H completely drops the ball. Reached out to customer service via chat and Marty M. says that’s fine we’ll send you a form in 5-7 business days. Two weeks later, still no form. So, I reach back out and Nicholas W. says that’s all wrong and they won’t do anything until they get the package back from their vendor. The problem is their vendor, who I’ve repeatedly refused delivery and told to return to send, won’t return the package until B&H tells them too. I’ve reached out to B&H again and they now say since I’ve complained to PayPal they won’t assist until I send a photo as proof that I’ve withdrawn the assistance request from PayPal. Right now their vendor still has the device and I have the charge. Silver lining since this is clearly heading towards small claim court is that they put everything in writing. And because you're required to sue in NYC per their Terms of Service, I get a lovely trip NYC. If you're willing to have to take the risk that you'll. need to travel to NYC to get resolution for a basic issue, I hope you have better luck than I.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews but I genuinely had a bed experience with their support service. I recently purchased a Video light ($900) light from nanlite. When it came in, the case hinge was slightly broken so I politely inquired to see if the can have a replacement. They suggested to repurchase a new light and when the new order number is provided, they will issue an RMA return for the broken light case. I went ahead and followed everything as instructed. A few days later they confirmed that they have filed a RNA return for me and that I will receive a separate email for the “return” instructions. On March 15 I received my RMA form and indicated to attach this form to my “return shipment” March 16 I went to UPS and shipped my light to the address they sent on the RMA form and attached the paper to the box (as instructed to) March 17 I sent them a photo of the receipt I paid for the shipment and inquired on what the refund process would be for that return cost. March 17 (same day I inquired) the send an Email “to wait for further instructions on how to ship my return” Their customer support then emails me after I’ve already shipped the light back After they’ve given me RMA forms ( attached to my shipment return box) stating that they won’t cover shipping cost because they said they “sent an email stating to wait for instructions” 2 days after sending me RMA Return form. I tried to explain to them how this doesn’t make sense but I’m tired of arguing. They’re very stern that I’m in the wrong. I wish I had just kept the broken light case to begin with… now I paid more than expected and this took A LOT of my time and effort to process on my end.. Will most likely not recommend and buy again
