UPDATE 11/20/2024
This was my first time actually visiting NY Pizza Suprema as I usually had delivered or my husband picked up, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. I was initially a little hesitant about bringing my family, especially with our three-year-old daughter, but I couldn’t resist the idea of having their amazing pizza fresh out of the oven. It’s always delicious — even cold — but I wanted my family to try it at its best.
We ordered a pie of burrata pizza, a slice of Meat Lover, and a slice of the Fra Diablo. All were fantastic, as expected, but the real highlight of our visit wasn’t just the food — it was the incredible hospitality we received.
While I was holding our little girl to show her the pizza-making process in their open kitchen, the owner, Joe, came over and asked if she wanted to make her own pizza. She excitedly said “Yes,” and to our surprise, Joe pulled out some fresh dough and set up a mini pizza-making station right at our table for her. He brought out their special tomato-based sauce and two kinds of cheese, and together, they made her very own pizza.
Joe was so kind and patient, sharing stories about how making pizza with our daughter reminded him of when his own girls were her age. Once the pizza was baked, she couldn’t wait to dig in and happily ate half of it right there. The rest was boxed up for us to take home — a sweet memento of the experience.
Joe’s warmth and thoughtfulness turned what could’ve been a simple dinner into the biggest highlight of my family’s trip to New York. It’s not just about the incredible pizza (which is top-notch); it’s also about the heartfelt care that makes this place so special. I can’t thank him enough for creating such a memorable experience for our family. As everyone agreed me on the best pizza in New York City we are going back before they fly back to Korea!
Past Review;
I’ve tried Margherita, Burrata, and White pizza with garlic. All of these didn’t disappoint me. I personally love their burrata pizza the most. Their tomato sauce is sweet and tangy acidic which balance out well. Flavorful cheese can’t go wrong on their tomato sauce. Garlic white pizza was pretty good too. It is different from regular white pizza from other pizzerias. Creamy ricotta cheese and freshly minced garlic are...
Read moreMy first time in NYC and my first meal in NYC. I've always wanted to try a NY slice of pizza and so out of all the places, I wanted to come here just based off what I seen on YouTube.
Food: my first round here was so awesome and the pizza was soo good. There was a good amount of options to choose from and I love that each option had a name and listed the ingredients with the pizza. And boy did I love the sizes of the slices too. I got the buffalo chicken and the meatball. The meatball was more of a crumble but it was still amazing. I like that they put the slices in the oven to give the crust an extra crisp which was too good. I'm not a cheese person at all and 99% of the time im picking cheese off the pizza or getting it with light cheese. I must say I didn't have to do either one. Both slices had the right amount of cheese. My only, thing is I wish there was more chicken on the buffalo pizza. The price for each slice was excellent for it being NYC. 9.7/10
Service: these guys was too awesome. They was very respectful and also very helpful. They worked very fast and efficiently. And the take cash too which is a major plus because that's all I used my whole trip was cash. 10/10
Atmosphere: reminded me of an old school diner in a way. I liked the atmosphere. I did see a sign saying please seat 4 to a bench during rush hour. I personally would just get my food to go if that was the case but if you are that type of person who is open to that, by all means. And im glad that they were open...

We really love NY Pizza Suprema located just across the street from Madison Square Garden. This is a family owned joint with only 1 location, been here forever. BEST PIZZA IN NYC HANDS DOWN. Be sure to get the round cheese if that is how your roll (She loves it) but I prefer the square spicy Fra Davalos. It is so crunchy and OMG fantastic. We only buy by the pie and heat the leftovers up the next day (or sometimes the next night). There can be a line but it moves fast. Cash and cards accepted. Pro tip is to avoid the line, go to the back where they make it and order there but you have to order a whole pie. Much faster. Eat inside is fun. We have seen a LOT of famous folks in here all the time!!! Check out all of our reviews and look at all the photos below.
