Terrible Experience at Blink Fitness Corona This gym is honestly a joke. The front desk staff act like you’re asking for a favor when you borrow equipment. They get annoyed and even demand to keep your ID as collateral — as if you’re going to steal something. Isn’t that what we pay our membership for? Equipment should be available to all members without being treated like criminals. The bathrooms are constantly out of toilet paper, the water fountain looks filthy, and the A/C is never on — especially at night. When I asked why, employees said the owner refuses to turn it on. It’s unbearable during workouts, especially in the summer. Compared to other Blink locations like the one in Woodside and 76 and Roosevelt (same area), this gym is lacking big time. That one actually has equipment and treats members with basic respect. It’s no surprise that Blink is closing branches left and right. They care more about collecting your money than actually providing decent service. And don’t be fooled by their replies to reviews — they never do anything about the complaints. According to the membership contract, they are supposed to provide all necessary workout equipment and basic facility maintenance. I’ve spoken to a lawyer, and we do have the right to take legal action. If more members stood up and filed complaints, we might actually get the service we’re paying for — or our money back. Avoid this location if you value your time, your money, and your dignity.

Welcome to the most inconvenient gym experience money can buy—$45/month to borrow air and frustration. 💸🏋️‍♂️ Walk in ready to crush your workout? Cute. The equipment? Missing. No hooks, no handles, no cable attachments. Want to use a machine? You’ll need to take a field trip to the front desk—where they treat basic gym gear like it’s top-secret government property. And here’s the best part: if you don’t have an ID on you? Too bad. No ID, no equipment. Period. They won’t even try to help, you just get a look like you’re the problem. Like you’re asking for too much… for expecting to use what you’re already paying for. And if you dare question it, they get annoyed with you. I didn’t know I needed a passport to use a tricep rope, Most of us have resorted to spending even more money to buy our own attachments just to be able to train properly. Because this gym? Clearly doesn’t care about members, only the monthly charge hitting your card. It’s laughable. It’s sad. It’s STUPID. If you’re thinking about joining, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

Thank you for extending your hours—it’s fantastic to have late-night access! machines are missing hook carabiners, which makes them difficult to use. Additionally, encouraging members to re-rack weights after use would help keep the gym organized and safe for everyone. Lastly, I think having to ask for equipment at the front desk and provide our ID in exchange is a bit ridiculous, especially since this equipment should be included in the membership we’re already paying for. It just doesn’t make sense. Thank you for your attention to these suggestions!

I really try my hardest not to post negative or disappointing reviews because I always prefer to see the positives over negatives of things but I still have to be honest and forthright in each review I put down and I can't pull any punches on this one.

This location has earned the dubious title of my least favorite Blink fitness spot. Before I put it into detail, I'll note a few positives of this place. It's a two floor spot with a lot of space and variation of machines and is pretty close to a bevy of restaurants in the area. However, despite all of the space in the location, it's already deemed irrelevant when the whole gym is packed from top to bottom. I've been to crowded gyms before and they weren't too bad but I'm not a fan of the atmosphere here at all. The place gets crowded as early as 10:30 AM, ON WEEKDAYS! Imagine how hellish it could be on the weekends and peak afternoon hours. Most of the people here speak Spanish and my Spanish is mediocre at best, which makes me feel like a foreigner in this place and some of the people here in the gym occupy certain machines and do supersets on them with the length of a short movie. Maybe that's an exaggeration, but I do recall one guy being on the chest press machine for almost 20 minutes and I found that absurd. The atmosphere here is very off putting and I'm a guy that is easily influenced by the vibes of certain places, which is why I value service over presentation when I review restaurants, and I'd rather work out in a barebones gym yet have fun with a small group of people than be in a state of the art gym and feel alienated. My trip here was not pleasant, there were machines I couldn't get to use today because they are always occupied.

This is in no way a fault of Blink in any way because they can't do crowd control but I in good conscience can't recommend this gym to anyone considering the very short time frame you have to get a decent workout going before hordes of people pack the place. Fortunately I am a Green Card Member of Blink so I can go to any location in the city and there are several other better places than...

August 2025 Uodate: I've now canceled my membership. Still 0 improvements to pre-existing issues, and some issues (etiquette, lack of equipment, cleanliness) are significantly worse.

Blink was recently purchased by Pure Fitness and hopefully this will create some positive changes in re-staffing (specific to management), enforced rules, restrictions on members/memberships, and equipment. Otherwise they'd be better off closing this location entirely. Absolute garbage.

June 2025 Update: They're open 24/5 now. That's it, that's the only change. Still just as trash as ever. ----------------------------------------------

April 2025 Update: Still absolutely 0 improvements in this gym and actually, it's gotten worse. You can't tell when equipment is free because the lazy, out of shape folks mentioned in my last review actually hold them for people who aren't even physically in the gym yet or are in the gym, but on a different floor, using another piece of equipment already. Evening crew doesn't put equipment away, and there are some employees who start working out before the gym officially opens, so when it does open there is already equipment taken.

The equipment isn't bad, but most of the members have horrible gym etiquette. They'll take multiple sets of dumbbells at once that they're not using, won't return them to the right spots if at all, and it's crazy because maybe 5% of them are in shape. The women usually come in, do what they need and are friendly but the men ego lift, are rude and have the least athletic builds...
