DISHONEST store and employees who STOLE my money. I had made a large purchase 3 weeks ago and didn't need some of the items - when I went back to return these items, I decided to also pick up some curtains. Instead of issuing the refund and ringing up my new items separately like I wanted, the cashier insisted that I process the return in the same receipt as the new items because it would be faster. I didn't think anything of it at the time, and the final amount that I ended up paying the second time ($28) was less than the cost of all the new things I was purchasing due to the cost of the returned items being deducted in the same transaction. After looking at the curtains in my home (I had bought 6 at $9.99 each) I decided they didn't fit the room and that I would go get my money back. Despite only purchasing the curtains a week ago, and bring the items back in perfect condition and well within their 30 day return policy, they flat out refused to refund me the full amount, and would only refund the $28 from the last receipt and would not give me back the almost $40 remaining. I told them I would not accept those terms, because what they were doing was illegal as there was no part of their posted return policy that I was out of compliance with and the rude and sexist manager had the gall to threaten to call security on my mother-in-law and I for demanding that we get our money back. They STOLE almost $40 from me and I will never step foot in that store again. And I wish for all the Caribbean people that frequent this store to take a good look at the homogeneity of the people they hire and then look at how poorly they treat the same people that are lining their pockets and keeping their business afloat and take their coins elsewhere. The principle of this whole encounter is what has me the most upset because this is clearly a scheme that they are running to steal people's money and dishonor their return policy based on the fact that the cashier was the one that insisted on handling the transaction in this way and that the manager would not override their bs "system" to issue my legal refund. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for this company and trust that karma will have its way...

But today the seller cheated me for more than $ 8. The seller opened the checkout, served me first and cheated me. She charged for 3 bathroom rugs and I bought two. I regret that I checked the purchase when I pasted the bag up at home (they always glued them before, but recently they stopped gluing them, but this time the seller for some reason glued them up again). On the way home, I was counting purchases in my mind and realized that something was wrong. The store is 5 stops, if you go by train and I didn't want to go back to the store, but what would I prove ?! ... I had a feeling that something was wrong, as the seller counted everything, said the amount and removed all my purchases from the monitor screen. And I couldn't check right away.
It was in the basement where curtains are sold. And the seller was at the second checkout on the right. According to the receipt, this purchase was made at 4:02 pm. If the administration of the store is interested in all this, they can find out all this with the seller and at least warn her about the inadmissibility of deceiving customers.
It is so unpleasant when the salesman is cheating by looking in your face. I don't even feel like going to this store again ...

School uniform shirts, baby clothing, and much much more. I can’t even count how many items in my household are from Bobby’s. They were great quality for unbeatable prices. I have a stool in my bathroom that my toddler grandchildren use to reach my sink. I have it for decades and it’s still in perfect condition!
I am so grateful that TARGET opened nearby! That should be your go to store!! Their service is impeccable!! Their store is organized, neat, clean, comfortable, & well stocked. They have escalators, elevators, great AC, super fresh produce, and only excellent quality merchandise. They have amazing employees who speak clear English, Spanish, Creole, you name it- they’ll speak it, have it, tell you exactly where to find it… Need I go on? Employees of Bobby’s are dishonest to put it mildly. They lock the door well before closing time and do not allow you to pick up what they told you would be waiting for you!
