The Craft Salon — Attraction in New York

My daughter was always quite creatively inclined. We heard such wonderful things about the Craft Salon and thought enrolling her there would be very fun for her and allow her to practice her art. Turned out to be one of the best decisions we have ever made!

The Craft Salon is an accepting and nurturing atmosphere that has allowed our daughter to bond with other children and grow in her own creativity. Dari has been a friend, and an amazing mentor to our girl. She and Saskia support and inspire the children day in and day out in a way kids don't always get. There's equality, and maturity but also a tremendous amount of joy and fun when the studio is in full swing. My daughter now sees no limits when it comes to art. There is no picture she won't try to draw, no fabric vision she comes up with in her mind that she won't immediately try to sew and shape, no bit of clay she won't sculpt.

My daughter has been going to The Craft Salon since Dari opened and it is one of her favorite afterschool/camp programs. She loves it. She's a very crafty and artsy kid and always comes home excited to show off her latest crafts. She's even taught us some of the techniques she learned. This craft shop is an absolute gem for children! It’s colorful, welcoming, and filled with so many fun and engaging activities. The staff are incredibly patient, kind, and fantastic with kids—they really know how to spark creativity and make every child feel proud of their creations.
