Came here for the first time with my best friend and we went ahead and ordered caramel lattes. When we stepped outside I asked my friend, does this taste like caramel to you? And she said no. I went back inside and I asked them to put more milk and caramel because latte was also dark. The man at the front who I didn’t even ask to fix my coffee, I was asking his coworker, interrupts me and says well there is a difference between asking for more caramel and milk? Which one is it? And then I said add more milk first and I will see. She put more milk and the drink still tasted less of caramel but I didn’t have the nerves to ask again for more caramel once the drink was in my hand because of attitude and him making me feel like I was burden. Hence my order still not right. Our omelette also ended up being served after my interaction with the latte. The omelette also ended up being dry, I went back inside, try to avoid man, and asked his different female coworker, when he saw me he literally said “ what is it that you want now?” I didn’t even ask him for more sauce to put in dry omelette and he again interrupted my question to his coworker. I ended up getting the sauce and told my best friend the interaction with him and she was shocked and also proceeded to say the atmosphere in that cafe were also off and she noticed that as she walked in. I will never ever be going back to this location, first...

Not the best place for working. I was looking for a quiet cafe to drink coffee and work on my laptop, and I wouldn't recommend this spot. The seating isn't ideal and the more you sit there, the more you notice it. The chairs were too low and the table was too high. I'm shorter than average, but I'm not tiny by any means. These tables made me feel minature. The table was close to my shoulder height, and when I tried to use my laptop, my elbows couldn't rest on the table.

Also, it isn't very clear that you can ONLY order at the counter. When I entered, I was sat at a table and handed a menu. The other guests and I were confused about if there was wait service. It wasn't made clear that there is not, and everyone needs to order at the counter.

I had a waffle with butter and syrup, and it was serviceable. Beans & Leaves Cafe is definitely more of a brunch spot. It's a cute location with a cozy ambiance, but for the reasons I mentioned before, it needs improvements before I would consider...

Firstly, the staff and waitresses left the table uncleaned with people’s left overs and dishes still on the table after we sat. Secondly, the estimated wait time provided by the waitress was between 10-15 minutes, the food didn’t come out and the table wasn’t cleaned until we decided to leave, and once we asked about the food 40-50mins later it was ready. The staff treatment to us felt racially motivated, and made us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. We waited for almost an hour and no food came out so we were forced to take the food home with us. All this and the food was not good at all everything was dry and wasn’t fresh. Overall I would never recommend anyone come here terrible service food is better at project brunch so is...

The southern shop is another great example of how delectable and superbly awesome the beans and leaves can be! I came post running a longer course for a Support our Troops 5k 2024 over in Wolfe’s pond park and needed an iced coffee. They took my order within minutes and it was superbly done. My style of red eye espresso 24 oz grand slam combo with almond milk light and easy with the jungle nut cold brew. Superbly done and skillfully smoothe! The only beef I have is the owner is a Cowboys fan lolz but such a sweet space! Well worth a visit because the area is lackluster in coffee spots like this one! Come on in you won’t regret your decision!

Back again. Amazing with even more choices. Keep up the great work. Should be a bit bigger with more tables. We have been to the Forest Avenue Location a few times. I find this spot more appealing for the parking. The interior is cozy and the staff were beyond friendly. Food was spot on and we enjoyed it all!! We will definitely be back.

The best coffee shop on Staten Island! The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. My recommendation is a waffle with Nutella, banana and strawberries but any waffle is amazing. The avocado toast with egg is also a favorite. The atmosphere is great and the coffee delicious! Would highly recommend!
