I don’t EVER do this but as suggested by many I feel I have to be a voice for my non verbal child who is 4 years old that is diagnosed on the spectrum/autism spectrum disorder. Today we tried Just Kidding Universe Playground on Veterans Road. We went in for 30 seconds when Jade and I were told she had to wear socks. So they charged me for the socks (even though she arrived with her own socks.) For many who know Jade she has her routines and we work hard to assist with adjustments in her routines. So i spent time nicely explaining that Jade is an autistic 4 year old and she has difficulty wearing socks. They said to basically try and if she won’t wear them she needs to leave and they will refund me. I do not care one bit about the money but as a parent it infuriates me. I mentioned already she is non verbal and has difficulty comprehending the reasoning behind having to wear socks. They literally even tried to tell me (maybe you shoukd try to talk to her) after I had to say it more than once. I am not looking for special treatment when it comes to my child because I work VERY hard to introduce routines to her that she may have difficulty with because moving on in life there will unfortunately be many situations that will be hard for her. After ten minutes of my child having a meltdown and refusing the socks they jumped in and said they would refund me and we had to leave. The point is that for any parent of a child with special needs now I have to work hard to remove and transition her from the environment that she had so much fun playing in for a brief 10 minutes. Their attitude was basically “Sorry.” As a parent I am heartbroken and I am furious that we live in a stage in life where there is Autism Acceptance and clearly at Just Kidding Indoor Playground they are certainly not. This may not be the experience for most but this truly hurt me as it hurt my child. If you are a parent of a child with special needs I suggest to second think ever visiting a place like this as I have many friends with children that are not on the spectrum now that will never even think of going to this place ever again. We wound up going to We Rock The Spectrum in Staten Island where Jade LOVES to visit and she is ACCEPTED! Maybe some may or may not agree with me and that is fine, but I refuse to stand quiet when it comes to my child who just wants to be accepted like...

We recently visited the Just Kidding Universe Playground, and it was an absolutely outstanding experience for both kids and parents alike! This indoor playground has everything you could possibly want for a fun-filled day, and we left with big smiles and wonderful memories.
Exciting Play Areas: The playground is impressively designed with various play zones to keep children entertained for hours. The ball pit was a huge hit with our kids – it’s spacious, clean, and filled with colorful balls that encourage endless fun and laughter. The slides are another favorite, they’re safe, well-maintained, and provide the perfect mix of thrill and excitement.
Interactive Arcade and Claw Machine: For kids who love games, the arcade section is fantastic. It’s packed with a variety of games suitable for different age groups. The claw machine was particularly popular, and we spent a good amount of time trying to win cute stuffed animals. The games are affordable and offer great prizes, which add an extra layer of fun to the visit.
Friendly and Attentive Staff: The staff at Just Kidding are exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and helpful attitudes. They are always available to assist and ensure that both kids and parents have a smooth and enjoyable experience. Their friendliness and professionalism truly make a difference and contribute to the welcoming atmosphere.
Convenient Amenities: One of the standout features is the provision of lockers. This thoughtful amenity allows parents to store personal belongings safely, giving them peace of mind to fully enjoy the day with their kids. The facility is clean and well-organized, with ample seating areas for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their children.
Overall Experience: Just Kidding Universe is a gem for families looking for a fun and safe indoor activity. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into creating a space that is not only entertaining but also welcoming and secure. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic indoor playground experience. We will definitely be...
Read moreI had my daughter’s 5th birthday party at the just kidding playground. They did not disappoint me. The indoor playground is very spacious and clean. There’s lots of lockers for your jackets or bags. There’s a lot of shelves for shoes as well. There’s gates at the entrance, so that the kids can’t leave the place even if they want to because the gates can only be opened with their parents’ wristband. We had the biggest party room, so we had enough room for 25 kids and their parents. We got there 20 minutes earlier to set up and the staffs were helping as well. The food came on time. I actually got a call from one of the JK staffs a week before to confirm the party and I told them what I would like to order and they placed an order for me. I liked that arrangement a lot because I don’t need to worry about ordering and picking up food. Then before the party started, the host told me the rundown for the party. She also had a sheet to record which kid has gotten the tokens. The party went smoothly even though it seemed a bit rush since I only had the party room for 90 minutes, but this is everywhere else’s problem as well. Although we only had the party room for 90 mins, the kids were able to play before the party started, during the party and after leaving the party room. Everyone was satisfied and happy! It was a great experience and I would highly recommend anyone who wants to have their kid’s birthday party there.
Con: The package I bought came with a birthday goody bag for the birthday girl, it is a cute little JK tote bag with a stuff animal and a return ticket in it. The return ticket expires in 3 weeks from the day of the party which I think they should extend the expiration date to at least a month or two. We have been so busy every weekend with my daughter’s friends’ birthday parties, so we couldn’t even use the return ticket because it...
