I always referred my coworkers, friends, and family here with HIGH recommendations. My nails always came out amazing, by the owner, Jenny. As far as customer service goes, if you can deal with your nail tech getting loud, rude, and disrespectful with you, by all means this is your new spot. However I am incredibly disappointed in the customer service. The owner raised her voice and carried on in front of the whole store. I am not the type to curse or carry on so I was baffled. Especially because I tip well, my referrals actually show up, and I get expensive designs. I wouldn’t come back after today. And I will definitely let everyone I referred know. Because if it could happen to me it could happen to you. Update: I went back to the salon a couple months later and she treated me well so I thought maybe she was just having a bad day back then. Well that was a BIG mistake. Whatever you do, don’t ask her to fix a nail because she will get so upset that she will start putting her hand all up in your face, yell at you, and make a scene. This happened in a shop full of other customers! To be petty, she dramatically raised the price from $80 to $120. And when I refused to pay her more than the same price I paid every time I come she took my phone away, locked the shop doors, called the cops and told them that I threatened her. If it weren’t for all of the customers witnessing it and calling her out on it I could have gotten in a lot of trouble just because she was upset. And by the way, the police yelled at her and told her she can’t just take anyone’s phone away. Should you ever decide to visit this salon or give Jenny (first chair by the door/shop owner) you’re hard earned money, ask yourself. Is it worth my self respect. Is it worth me getting arrested over a false accusation? Is it worth the humiliation? If so, then by all means enjoy the nails, because she does do a good job. But it comes with a price. What are you willing to pay to get cursed out, and get falsely accused of threatening people just because she is irate and irrational. As for me? Not worth it. I won’t be back. Yuck....
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE! I’ve had it with this nail salon. It's overpriced! Countless times I have given them the benefit of the doubt but today, I had it. Employees are rude, they rush to complete your nails. You can only go to a selective few to get a proper manicure and pedicure. If you even try to speak up as one should- employees catch an attitude as if what they're doing looks good. Mind you, I am paying you MY money to do your JOB. If I do not like something fix it, do not argue with me simple. They have to have it their way or no way. As I presume they also speak about you in their language.
In addition, employees struggle to do complex designs plus shaping your nail to your desired liking. They do not cut your cuticles nor do they clean under your NATURAL nails...to even cut your nail or file it down... forget it. They're quick to take out the nail and glue it to your fingers. It's best to do gel and call it a day, even then they struggle with completing that task. Male employees cannot do nails period. My finger nails are broad and horrendous. Save your coins and book with a nail tech instead. This is not what I asked for at all.
Due to the fact they're making over $100 an hour. You would think they will invest in higher quality nail tips and equipment. Such as Valentino nail tip instead of the Feugole French nail tips. It's quite evident that they're exploiting black women for their money while doing the bare minimum.
I would respect if employees are honest and say I cannot do this design, instead of being rude. As shown below too much acrylic was applied to my nail, if you should zoom in there is a pink line above the french line. The man considered that to be a design, I said isn’t that color? These were $60. Being that covid is still around, this business does not take any precaution. It is overcrowded till you see customers outside. If you want a fast-paced environment where they rush to complete your nails and have it last for approximately a few weeks this is the...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this nail salon for years. Today was the worst experience I’ve ever had at this place. I always treat the staff with respect even when they are not so nice. Today I was this nail technicians first client and first off her station looked like it had not been cleaned from the day before but I didn’t notice until she began my nails already. She was literally rushing and giving attitude because I wanted to look at the choices they had for nail charms. I got a fill in and one nail replaced along with 3 designs. I brought some charms of my own that were used also. When I’m ready to pay this woman says the color powder for my nails was 12$ extra even tho she used the basic powder and a tiny bit of colored powder. I’ve gotten the designs I had today many times in the past. I know how much they cost. Today they doubled that price and everyone in the salon who heard knew they were being dishonest. They also charged me an additional 15$ for gel polish even though she did one marble design for Me. All my other nails were left the color powder I originally came with because I only wanted a fill in. Because they were unwavering and blatantly trying to embarrass me , to my dismay ,I paid and left. I will never support this business again and I will never refer anyone here. I feel terribly bad for summer , the only one with manners and actual skills. I should’ve waited for her to do my nails today. Especially because there are visible flaws on my nails and she didn’t not even clean up my cuticles. She just left the acrylic residue. The salon was not over packed when I came so there was no reason for the rush. That’s okay tho, dirty dishonest businesses like this one will be gone from my beautiful community...
