First off let me say that the food is good. However the quantity of how much you actually get is a joke. Today I ordered oxtails (by itself) because I just had a taste for just that. Due to the quarantine you order and step back outside so you have no idea what your plate looks like.
Issue #1 : charged the same price as if I had a full oxtail meal when I only ordered oxtail by itself.
Issue #2 : $10 was the price not bad right for a full tray of oxtails.... but they literally gave only 4 oxtails (not big ones at that ) My tray was filled with mostly juice from the oxtails, which leads to issue 3.
Issue #3 : We get that it’s a business we get it isn’t your plate but a customer would appreciate you 1 package the food properly cus sauce was spilling out in the bag and 2 fill the plate as you would fill yours 🤷🏽♂️ Simple.
Nice little spot has potential but customer service, food quantity and customer care is trash. We need a spot that gonna pack ya plate like Goodys in...
Read moreIt is an affordable great deal place for Jamaican food. Very tasty plates for $5. Some are still available that price first come first serve. However, due to the pandemic some prices are elevating some but still great deals overall. I can attest to their brown stewed chicken and curry chicken. Very tasty and they give big portions. Hard to finish one. Their cabbage & macaroni salad is delicious. I wasn't a big fan of the jerk bbq, the meat didn't marinate in it long enough and taste like something missing. However, the meat is always tender! Just watch not to choke on the chopped bones! I was disappointed with the mac & cheese. It was oily & overcooked. Also, hard. The daytime lady usually has an attitude but maybe I would too with the heat coming from the kitchen & outside. The evening lady was very nice! The Peanut Butter Punch seamoss is a bit pricey but good for health. Sometimes taste good other times i don't know why it isn't mixed well. I would definitely...
Read moreI stopped by here yesterday for the first time as i was in the mood for a steamed red snapper with all the works. It was 6:30pm in the evening and I know from driving by many times that it is a small spot. I purchased a decent sized Steamed Red snapper ($15.00). The young lady behind the counter was very accommodating she gave me fish and more of the trimmings, okra, bok choi, carrots, lots of onions. AS i purchased the fish with no sides. The fish was Great! I believe it could use a bot more seasoning. It did not have a strong fish smell which i loved. Lots of butter which made for a creamy smooth gravy. Would definitely buy there again. I noticed their menu was reasonably priced.
Update: i went back to Fishnet about 2 weeks after i posted this review. I purchased a stew chicken. Came home opened it, boom..a eyelash. Threw the entire food out....
