Shrine Church of Our Lady of Solace — Attraction in New York

This is a beautiful church with an amazing Priest. It is well attended and the music is great. You definitely can find God there. Update August 2023... I just realized that I have been attending Mass here for 20 years. I was reading some of the reviews and most of them are very positive. There are some reviews that were not. Most of them seemed to think the staff was disrespectful. First, in the past 20 years the Homilies have been Steller. No Priest ever watered down the Gospel. They are very excited about their faith and very committed to those they pastor. This task is very hard in a world that we live in as everyone has their own opinions about everything. The Priest is governed by the laws of the church that have been handed down for centuries. They have to follow those directions. As Priestly as these men are, they are also human and we need to cut them a break. Our world is completely off it's rocker. We need to realize this and support our Priest in every way possible. We need to be patient when he appears to make mistakes. We are the church and we need to work together to uplift our community. Hopefully those who have been so critical will realize the task that our Priest...
