Smooth park with a balance of street and transition skating. Lots of ledges of all sizes, nice twin hubbas for both stances, and a small but skateable handrail. The rainbow rail up the euro is entertaining but gets in the way of the euro a bit. The A-frame rail is the same as the one in Sea Isle City, it’s decent but the ramp angle is weird for the height of the rail. Everything is pretty slide- and grindeable, although I had to wax my board and trucks a couple times in order to make it across the flatbar, which is super hard to access for regular frontside/goofy backside. Both of the banks are really nice for flow. Solid park for learning tricks, a chill warmup sesh, or a Saturday...
Read moreFun and clean park... wish the bathrooms were open longer. I also wish the decks of the ramps were wider, but whatevs, it's still fun and the closedt skate park to my home. Sometimes this spot gets crowded with a bunch of newbs treating it like a basketball or tennis court... when there are basketball and tennis courts literally right there, but I cant blame this skate park for human ignorance and lack of skate etiquette. The working water fountain is also nice...its only shut off for winter so pipes dont freeze I suppose. It kinda sucks after a heavy rainfall bc the trees drop these little death balls which act like stop rocks, but the concrete dries super fast...
Read moreNice layout. Ramps are not really bmx friendly but you can still have lot of fun with it. But the skatepark is practically useless because it’s RIDICULOUSLY OVERCROWDED!!! Once I actually counted and there were 18 riders and another 12 people just standing and waiting for their turn. So 30 active riders in the smallest skatepark possible. Of course it’s not always that bad but you get the gist. If I go there, I go there early in the morning. Around 8 or 9. But around noon it starts...they gather out of nowhere like bunch of cockroaches. Suggestion for improvement = occupancy limit, fee, or generally extend the park, which is...
