Absolutely disgusting experience. My boyfriend and I checked into this hotel and were immediately put off by the questionable cleanliness—but the worst part? There were mushrooms growing out of the AC vent in our room. Actual fungi. We didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in the bed, so we packed up and checked out early. To make things worse, the front desk manager gave me the complete runaround when I asked for a refund. No help at all. I had to go through my bank to dispute the charges. Save your money and stay literally anywhere else. This place is unsanitary, unprofessional, and not worth the stress. Response to the owner: Your response is disappointing but not surprising. I can assure you that my claims are 100% accurate—there were mushrooms growing out of the AC vent in our room, and we have photos to prove it. The room was clearly not properly cleaned or maintained, and we did report the issue, only to be met with vague apologies and no real solution. Saying there have been “no verified reports” is misleading—just because you choose not to acknowledge a report doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. We checked out early because we did not feel safe or comfortable staying in that environment, and instead of taking responsibility, your team gave me the runaround about a refund until I had to go through my bank to resolve it. This response only further shows how little accountability you’re willing to take. I stand by my review and hope it helps others avoid the same experience.

Quick walk from the L train, but that’s probably the most redeeming quality of this place. When we checked in, the place smelled a little too strongly of cleaning products. We rented a room with a balcony, and as we were exploring our room, we found a cigarette butt outside. The view wasn’t horrible at night, but during the day it’s a mediocre view of a CubeSmart and an industrial park. Curtains did a decent job of blocking out the light. The room itself was very small with a lot of tight corners. The doors shut pretty heavily, and you can hear people coming in and out of their rooms throughout the night. The TV provided had connections issues, along with their Wi-Fi. The bed felt like it was caving in the middle, and was constantly creaking. The breakfast is just sad. Nothing fresh. No protein, no fruit- just pastries that look like they were bought in bulk from the grocery store. A blueberry muffin with only 2 blueberries. There was no dairy-free coffee creamer, and only one tea option. We booked a trip last minute and got what we paid for; but I don’t recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quality stay.

Walking into the hotel you'll get the sense it's a higher brand hotel but it stops at that. You must either take the stairs or elevator one flight up for entry into lobby. Presence is clean and modern. They copy your state issue ID onto an index card and have you sign terms and conditions of stay - incidental charges for damage to room or smoking- I should have asked how my information will be stored and to destroy my card after checknlout. After being given my key I walked over to another bank of elevators to go to my room. Initial positive reaction to my room with balcony was quickly changed to disgust after seeing the mold ridden shower floor. Almost $300 for one night so Mr mold can hang out with me 🙄😒. Unfortunately I had less than one hour to get ready and skaddadle to a dinner. I highly doubt I'd return back to this property because cleaning maintenance needs to be prioritized. Ohh also the Vizio TVs are small

I highly recommend to never stay here. Go somewhere else. The exterior walls are paper thin and on a busy street. You will be constantly awakened by trucks, sirens and general street noise. And I have stay at hotel room level with the BQE. You will also hear the tv of your neighbors. My room had only a few outlets that work without any solution in sight. Furthermore house keeping occurs randomly and at in opportune times. Each day after putting long hours and just wanting to return to my room to relax and clean up from the day. I’d find the room uncleaned even though requesting house keeping. You will then be booted out of your room or unable to return to it for 20 minutes if not more. No offers to change to a room with working outlets, no money off the rate. Just sorry it is what it is. I stay in the city regularly and took a chance on this more economical option. I will be paying the extra money for a much higher quality accommodation moving forward. Do not stay here unless you want to throw your money away and have a terrible inconvenient stay in the city. Avoid at all costs. I’d recommend the Penny or Indigo in Williamsburg. Nova is no bueno.

Edit: I decided to give Nova another shot for a week long stay while working in the city. To see if any improvements to service has changed. In the two months since my last stay. Nope it’s worse. The front desk staff is absolutely useless although most of the time nice, but are truly incompetent. When asking for room turn down service, it doesn’t happen, when you don’t want it and try to sleep they show up. Had a maintenance guy on one of the days just barge into my room. No knock just right in unannounced. Luckily I had the safety latch engaged. I told the gentleman who was at the desk at the time and says “that shouldn’t happen.” That’s right it shouldn’t. Today I called the desk about not receiving the turn down service and fresh towels requested yesterday. The girl at the desk asked me who I spoke to…IT WAS HER!!! So when the towels never arrived I went down to get them. She says the call came from 405. I’ve been in 404 my entire stay. She even helped me extend my reservation when my job extended. She then tried to make it my fault that their phone system is messed up. I even told her 404 on the phone. I definitely came in a little hot this time when speaking to her. But after all these horrible experiences over the week. And then the simplest task of getting towels can’t even be accomplished and the blame trying to be put on me. You don’t get the most cordial approach. This place is a joke. The people have no idea what they are doing. And yes the maintenance and or construction noise is still very disruptive. They are attempting to get a lounge added to the property. They should really get the basics of hospitality management down before trying to expand their business. I have never in my life seen such a poorly managed establishment. That’s what I get for trying to give a business a second chance. DO NOT STAY HERE! It essentially feels like getting robbed, spending money on such an incredibly awful, not relaxing, and torturous stay. The manger and owner should be ashamed. Absolutely...

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE It is very sketchy , shady , and unprofessional. Long story short we booked the room for 2 nights. Upon arriving back to our hotel, the second night, we realized we walked into our room with our belongings gone and other people‘s belongings in the room we went to the counter to find out what happened and how did this happen and the lady at the counter was not helpful. She just said she didn’t know how it happened. Once we asked for our belongings back they went to check the room and lost and found to look for items. We did not receive our purse back. They stole our purse. The lady at the counter, put us on the phone with the manager to which they apologize and said they would give us a full refund. We ended up leaving that night very upset. We did not stay there For the second night. We tried to reach out multiple times because they did not give us a refund or compensate us that night or in anyway. They said that we would have to go through their team and contact them and write them email. We did. We called, texted, emailed multiple times and they still did not call us back. They still have not compensated us and they did not give us a refund. This was very unprofessional. It was very uncomfortable and quite frankly it could have been very dangerous had the person in the room reacted. Management did nothing about the situation and we are very upset about it. Not to mention the hotel is very grimy and smells very bad. The location was cool but the hotel itself was terrible. Do not stay here we do not recommend it is not worth the time or money. I hope that the team reads this message review and does something about this situation. It added so much stress to what was supposed to be a...
