I loved this place! I gave it 2 less star mostly because of the pricing which was a bit high given the experience and what I was allowed to break within the parameters. Also the place where it’s located is kind of sketchy which is basically in the middle of a no name or any special kind of Brooklyn block so it was a bit hard to travel to and easy to miss. I do love the anonymity to it all and the fact that it’s pretty private and exclusive to paying customers. To describe the experience you first go in. I would suggest buying a reservation online and attending with a friend or 2 to save time and have more fun. But regardless you sign on the tablet in the front. They give you a locker with a code lock or key lock I forgot to keep your stuff inside and you change into thin white jumpsuits which zip up from the back. Afterwards you head inside to a room exclusive to you or your friend and they give you a couple of options to break stuff with. Either a metal bat, sledge hammer, crowbar etc. The entire room is timed with a seperate tablet with a timer and you get a set variety of things to break. In my experience I got to break a computer, laptop, couple of phones and vases and a printer. All this stuff is non usable and already broken so don’t worry about breaking anything that can still be used. It feels great to let loose a bit and just really give in to your darkest desires to just pummel and destroy everything in sight! Again pricing and location would’ve made it a 5 star but you work with what you get. This place is worth the...

The Rage Cage was overall a fun experience. The staff was very helpful, friendly and attentive. Once you put on all your protective gear the room is wired so you’re able to record your session and/or listen to your selection of music as you smash stuff. Just a few criticisms and suggestions. I think they could set you up with just a little bit more to smash. You are given ten plates, one keyboard and one monitor. You can break the plates and keyboard in seconds. Luckily we had the monitor that kept us occupied for the rest of the time. But just a few more items would be nice. You do have the option to buy more but it would be nice to have a few more items included in the package. It gets very hot in the cage, some fans or a/c would be appreciated. You are only able to throw the plates towards this one bullseye on the wall and you’re not allowed to throw the electronics. It would be great if they could be a little less restrictive about how you’re allowed to smash stuff. It kind of defeats the purpose of just being able to “rage”. Lastly, I think everyone would benefit if they sold some water or light snacks for the smashers when they are done or for the friends and family that are in the waiting area. All of that considered it was a fun experience that I...

We visited The Rage Cage as a surprise birthday gift for my husband, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience overall.

First off — the heat was unbearable. It was over 100°F outside, and somehow even hotter inside. The AC in the actual rage room barely made a difference, especially while wearing the full-body suits and helmet. My husband was drenched to his underwear within minutes — and that’s not an exaggeration.

The customer service was just as disappointing. The two girls at the front desk looked completely uninterested in helping. Every question we asked was met with the bare minimum response, like we were bothering them just by being there. One of the helmets didn’t even work, and my husband had to try three different ones before finding one that functioned properly.

The activity itself could’ve been fun — the idea is great — but it was hard to enjoy it while overheated, ignored by staff, and paying $120 for barely any electronics to smash. It felt overpriced for what we got.

Honestly, if you're thinking about visiting, I’d recommend finding another location that takes better care of both their guests and their equipment. I was excited to treat my husband to something special, and instead, we left sweaty, frustrated, and...

(2nd time at this place) Sad to report that this was not a full fun experience. Took my friend there for her birthday so we could let off some steam, but the customer service was really bad from the beginning to the end. I arrived at 5:24 pm for a 5:30 pm appointment, and I informed them that my friend was going to be there at 5:30 pm, and that I knew it would be taken off of our time in the room - I was directed to fill out the waiver on a broken iPad. Had trouble with the signature pad and for 4 min I had the front desk staff just look and not provide any other guidance than finger pointing from behind a desk. I purchased the biggest package for 2 people, and I must admit that it was not worth it. The premium electronics were 2 small screens and a vcr (all really hard to break- and I know this is a room for breaking hard things, but for $119.99 the sizes and type of electronics given- that’s a scam). I believe that we should’ve gotten at least a printed. Thankfully, we had purchased 10 extra plates to break. I get that all the instructions are posted everywhere, but it is not personable and the staff is just very blah. I think that this is a great idea, but I require better service when I arrive at places. Not sure that I would recommend this place.
