Yesterday, I visited Brooklyn Steel to see Blonde Redhead, but the experience was disappointing. The venue lacked professional staff and poor sound system.

If you saved your tickets on google wallet, be ready to be stepped aside from the queue, and you will be asked to download the AXS app, or getting a printed tickets from ticket booth to get in. There are security checks with metal decector, which I do not mind doing it but the security staff could have been nicer.

Despite the spacious layout, including a few VIP sections, the sound and lighting for the main stage were subpar. Standing behind the VIP section on the 2nd floor, I realized the audio control area downstairs was distracting with screen lights, and the constant movement of VIP attendees was disruptive.

The staff, especially the security personnel, were rude in managing access to the VIP section. Their use of flashlights to shoo people away was not only discourteous but also disturbed the entire audience in my area. Apart from the VIP section issues, the bartender's lack of professionalism stood out. My gin and tonic tasted like old ice cubes and lacked gin, and the tonic tasted like flat water. When I brought it to the bartender's attention, her response was unprofessional and dismissive, even labeling me as a "psycho."

This negative experience, from security to bartending, overshadowed the live music enjoyment. While I understand that hiccups can occur at concerts, the staff's unprofessionalism significantly impacted my concert-going day.
