Cuts 2 Crave Barbershop — Attraction in New York

UNEVEN HAIRCUT OKAY ATMOSPHERE BARBER WAS MOSTLY TALKING TO OTHER WORKERS CROOKED TAPER/HAIRLINE MESSED UP CROOKED BANGS AS WELL FADE WAS OKAY I would do 0/5 stars if i couldve these barbers DO NOT know how to cut hair all these barbers promoting that they are good and let me tell yall they are NOT they left my friends hair looking like a uneven mop they did his hairline so bad they made his hairline a soft angle and not a sharp angle and the worst of it all, they left his hairline crooked both of his bangs and his taper (actual hairline) they left him very bad and put texture powder that didnt even help with anything my friend has been to two different barbers in that store and they both did him bad and if you really sit down and watch how they do there haircuts and the results yall will see how bad they really are my friends has to miss 2 weeks of back to school after this abolishment if you guys wanna keep your confidence and go to an actual good barber definitely do not go to this barber please dont im telling you DO NOTT GO HERE ABSOLUTELY THEE WORSE!! My friends has been here twice first they did him very bad but now they did him worse now and yea just no its very bad and do not come to this barber shop only if ur not a teenager or u js dont want ur hair messed up or anything you can let him do only a fade but do not let him touch the rest of your hair!!! On the picture it looks pretty bad but it looks worse especially the real taper/hairline is very bad my friend is too shy to go into school now for back to school AND HE LEFT THE HAIRCUT UNEVENN!! and this cut costed $40 definitely not worth $40 it should be worth less than a quarter cs whats this?? I walked in as a first time customer with my son as the client. I was a bit hesitant since my 7 year old can be reluctant to get a haircut, but I had my fears relieved due to the staff present. They were welcoming and excelled at customer service - offering insight on wait time and asking what my expectations were. My son’s barber took the time to explain in full detail what he was doing and why he was cutting in such a manner. As I waited, other barbers and customers talked to each other and me. The combination of friendly banter and professionalism, just made me feel welcomed and valued. My son was at ease during the haircut - often assured by his barber about cut time, who spoke about video games and television to keep him calm. At the end, everyone (barbers and customers alike) complimented my son for the dapper appearance (which I thought was very kind). I can assure you, his haircut is mommy approved. Been coming here for 2 yrs. The shop offers great cuts with economical prices. During these pandemic times the owner of the shop is not taking any chances. Recently he purchased new equipment. You’ll notice the shop stays clean. You will be asked to keep your mask on, and the barbers will have theirs on. You’ll find hand sanitizers available as you walk in, and will be encouraged to use them. The shop is steps away from the 71st station on the D line. It’s definitely worth checking out.

Update: 2 yrs later and still coming to the same barber! Jose is the man!! Professional, affordable and listens and doesn’t rush to get to the next person. He just relocated around the corner from where the shop used to be and the new shop looks so much more nicer & bigger. He is on his way to having the nicest shop in the Bensonhurst area. The new place soon will have it’s own separate waiting room. He thought about every aspect of the interior space when renovating that would benefit the customer. Support this talented man.
