
My two kids have played baseball (and more recently flag football and some of their summer camp last year) here since 2019. Fields are great, vastly improved from a few years back, although they are still working on them. Little league model of parents are volunteer coaches means that a lot of your experience has to do with the coaches that work with your kids, but we've had good experiences thus far. I don't agree with all of the decisions they make, but it is largely a well run league and my kids have had great experiences. Like anything in life, you get out of it what you put into it. Kids will succeed and feel good about themselves if parents support and encourage them.
ElmJack is an all-volunteer organization, and there are always opportunities to help out. For those who can only do the minimum, just get your kids to games and practice and let them play. For kids and parents that want to get more out of it, expect to put more into it, such as practicing at home, professional coaching sessions, or the travel team.
