I fully expect to be charged the “past the security terminal surcharge” every time I buy anything at an airport so I have no complaints about overcharging in general (though $5 dollar bottles of water should absolutely be a federal case, get on it Elizabeth Warren) And while I relent to paying $15 dollars for an egg and cheese sandwich what I don’t expect is for that sandwich to be a microwaved plastic cheese mess. I will admit the smoked salmon toast was tasty and has good quality salmon but the extremely hot coffee loses them another point. As there is no other option with the exception of a Dunkin Donuts that does not offer sandwiches, your pretty much at their mercy. Coffee wasn’t bad once it cooled down. My advice add bacon to that egg and cheese to mask the poor quality egg and cheese though you may need to apply for a second mortgage to pay for it (about a $3 surcharge). I think 3 stars is about as fair a rating as I can give though a whole lot more than they deserve, staff was nice enough especially considering they were dealing with annoyed customers who are fully aware they are being fleeced and have just finished being frisked and prodded by security. I don’t expect to not be overcharged at an airport all I ask is that you give me corner store bodega quality egg sandwiches at least, seriously guys a breakfast pizza? Need I...

Probably the worst service I have ever had. Me and my family come in around 6:40am, we are running on 2 hours of sleep and are just exhausted all around. We sat down and ordered from our phones. The waitress came around and told me to pull up my receipt, she touched my phone which I didn’t give her permission to do, and then told me I chose to dine out because I didn’t leave a tip. Now, I typically would leave a tip but I didn’t even have a water that would make her actually have to come check in on me, the only thing she would do is bring me the order and that’s all, so I opted out this time. She begins to be very passive aggressive towards my whole family and then goes behind the bar and LOUDLY starts talking crap about us!!! I understand being a bit butthurt but to be straight up unprofessional like that was so mind blowing to me. I didn’t catch her name but if management is reading this it was the bigger girl that has fake blonde hair. The food was just alright nothing special, the other server was super nice and brought...

Overpriced airport food, but more overpriced than you would expect.

The Sandwiches: The sandwich I had was okay. It was tasty, did have some quality ingredients, and was freshly warmed/cooked. However, the size of the sandwich was smaller than I expected for ~$16, even for airport standards. It seems this place is banking on the supposed upscale dining experience and the quality ingredients to justify high prices, but is making a killing through shrinking portions with a captive market.

The environment: The chairs are bolted to the ground, so you can't scoot them out to fit a bag under. And the tablets they have feel like they are constantly running ads. While this is expected, it lowers the quality of the dining experience that they are attempting to sell to travelers passing by. The servers and staff are fine, they're just doing their jobs, no qualms with...

Absolutely awful. Don't eat anything from here. They lie to every customer to avoid having to wash dishes and clean up, claiming they want takeout and selling a handful of food in plastic boxes for tens of dollars. I insisted I wanted to eat at the table, but an Indian woman who didn't even speak English took my food, left it on an outside table, and said, "Eat outside." She also told me I had to tip extra if I wanted to sit at the table. I've never seen anything like it before. She was truly rude and made with old ingredients the food was disgusting, and not even enough for a 3-year-old.

Had a layover at LaGuardia Airport and after a morning of flying I was starving! I found Salotto Pizza, and I will never say no to pizza, especially when it’s at a new location for me. Salotto’s didn’t disappoint at all! I wouldn’t have thought pizza in an airport could be this good, but boy did they prove me wrong! I guess that’s New York for ya! I sat in the terminal and devoured this pizza, not because I was hungry, but because it was THAT good! The cheese, toppings, sauce and crust were amazing! I would eat this over some of the chain joints any day of the week!!!

So, where to start, the food was okay for the price, a pizza will cost you around 15 bucks, not cheap but is New York and is an airport, so yes it’s a ripoff if you compare it to other places outside but you can’t just go outside so unfortunately the options are only this or the small store near TSA, however service is really bad, the guy who takes the orders which I think is like a manager, needs to learn some customer service.
