TLDR- Reviews seemed good so took a chance. Disappointing first time experience with this restaurant. I cannot speak to the atmosphere as this is based on a delivery order, but I did speak to someone on the phone who was kind and seemingly attentive, but ultimately I don't think was paying attention and was just agreeing to anything to ultimately get me to place the order? Order arrived incorrectly prepared, missing entree inclusions and wrong beverages. This order was placed at 3PM ish in the afternoon, so I am not sure why items were unavailable. Felt dishonest and was a poor reflection on the restaurant's integrity. Called to ask for recommendations and asked for jerk sauce on jerk chicken. Ordered on Aug.5th and spent $65 (before fees and tip) dollars on oxtail, escovitch fish and jerk chicken meals plus 2 mild beef patties, coco bread and 3 beverages. I also ordered mac pie, but was refunded since they didn't have it. ALLLLL entrees were missing steamed cabbage and only 1 entree had a sole piece of plantain. Oxtail needed to be cooked a bit longer as pieces were inconsistently tenderized, 'escovitch' fish was just soggy fried fish with no peppers or onions to be found and although decently spiced jerk chicken was dry...like the rice in all the entrees because there was also no gravy present. The only thing that came correctly were the patties and coco bread I didn't really sign up to eat pounds of dry rice and peas. Don't send food out like this.

A Hidden Gem You’ll Want to Keep Secret! I recently stumbled upon this amazing restaurant that I just have to rave about—though part of me wishes to keep it a secret! The food here is simply out of this world. I had the oxtail, and it was absolutely heavenly—each bite was a burst of flavor that left me wanting more. To complement the meal, I ordered a drink that tasted just like a peanut punch—so delicious and refreshing! I can honestly say I’m obsessed with this place. If you're looking for a family-friendly spot, this restaurant is a hit with the kids too! Highly recommend giving it a try, but shhh, don’t tell too many people—let’s keep this treasure to ourselves!

I visited to order take out and the person was nice and the place had window sill seating with a few tables/chairs. Ordering was quick and easy. Wish I could give it full stars but found plastic and a piece of steel wool in my oxtail dish.

As a person who was born and grew up with Caribbean food, trying to find a restaurant that sells Traditional Caribbean food around East Elmhurst has been a bit of a challenge for me, especially living in an industrial neighborhood that is very close to the LGA Airport for over 5 years.

As a first time customer, I was received with a warm and friendly welcome into their business. The staff members treated me with the outmost respect and care by answering a couple of questions that I had and providing me with a lot of recommendations from their menu based on my liking.

One of the employees (male) was kindly enough to provide me with a sample of their fried dumplings that are advertised on their menu as an appetizer, and it was amazing!

Best customer service I’ve ever had in years!

Will definitely be coming back!

Shout out to Nicole & Eliana for their amazing customer service and...

A Culinary Delight, Morning, Noon, and Night!

From the moment you step inside, the aroma alone promises something special—and trust me, this place delivers. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every bite is a masterpiece.

Mornings here feel like a taste of the Caribbean Island that could make the sun jealous. Come lunch and dinner time, the menu transforms into a feast of bold flavors—just right, entrees that hit the spot every time.

But beyond the incredible food, the staff are the real MVPs. They treat every guest like family, always ready with a smile, a recommendation, and just the right touch of charm to make the experience even better.

If you're looking for a place where every meal feels like a taste of Caribbean, look no further. Morning, noon, or night—this spot is pure...
