Food Fair Fresh Market — Attraction in New York

The market looks a lot better but the staff they have need better training and they need to understand n speak English .its not a racist ,I’m Hispanics but when they are asked questions I notice they don’t respond n call for someone who does. I’ve been going there before n it’s been many years now ,but these cashier are being hired by relatives or friends n are very unprofessional ... that can be picked up as the learn from being rude to many customers they end up having arguments with... Sometimes you come cross.situations n explain to supervisors n the responds they give you makes no sense ,basically they lazy brush you off because they unaware of how to either handle the problem or don’t give full customers service or show effort to satisfy neighbor long term customers they trying to resolve or care ,,,,,I been one of them few times but I wait till Randy a manager is there n explain to him n when he genuinely apologizes n bring it to they attention as he resolve the Simplest matter ....I get my point cross when I tell them they should be nicer to people when they don’t even know how to do their jobs .Randy works above n beyond to keep that staff in better servicing customers n addressing things they need to do n not..This market needs secret shoppers so they can see what’s happening n realize that employees like that doesn’t give Food Fair the title n reputation they...

First of all the supermarket changed from a month ago. They used to play English radio now it’s all spanish, which is not cool for people who don’t speak the language. Yes there are a lot of spanish people living around here but there are also a lot of non spanish speaking too. It’s not a spanish supermarket. There are ethnic foods but it is not a SPANISH supermarket. Also the workers are rude. If you don’t speak Spanish or if you need help they side eye you and have an attitude like it isn’t their job. They work slow and barely speak English. It’s food fair supermarket not a bodega. Besides that there is a good deli but the deli workers are slow. I used about a year of studying and observing to learn which place that takes EBT was responsible for taking away all of my funds. My EBT was stolen not once, not twice, but three times. First time I kept my EBT card from 10 years ago back when they had more detail and more care for the cards look, but after coming to this market once, all of my funds were stolen. 2nd time came around and I went to this same market and it happened again. Whether or not the 3rd time was from here is questionable, but the fact that everything was alright before I came here speaks volumes to the number of skimmers potentially being used within this establishment.
