This is a huge park but that's all it is-huge. The playground is small and it's just a bunch of empty land. It would be nice if they did some renovation to this place to make it a better park and up to date with the other parks in Brooklyn. It has so much potential for such a huge area.
I said opinions of the playground, dog friendliness, and picnic area below but it would be better if there was an actual renovation on the park itself. Making the baseball field an actual baseball field would be nice since on the map they state one side is 'soccer' but both the sides are baseball fields and one looks like it hasn't been used in over 5 years. There's a football field but you can't go in it for some reason and could be used as a good place to practice football and soccer. They have a football pitch with artificial grass and a great tennis court in which I've came across.
