Was visiting for the 1st time last summer. Excellent neighborhood spot for everyone, near and far. Location is one of the best for all that it could offer, Manhattan Eastside skyline, by the East River, great spaces, lenghty and scenic walks (boardwalks, paved walks, terrain walks, etc.), exercise nook on a nice spot, beach volleyball court, lounging chairs with excellent panoramic views, great photo-op spots... We parked by the streets within a minute or 2 walk to the Riverside. The length of Gantry is unbelievably long for this urban plaza and oh, enough variety for the Queens town folks for the melting pot as it is. Clean. Airy. Scenic. Accessible. Commutable. Super easy to get to from the expressway and plenty of street pay meter parking as well as free parking after 8pm. There’s is also a lot of areas for pedestrian walk ways.
