I visited this salon twice for hair services. My first visit was for a silk press. The staff seemed friendly, and my stylist, Alex, initially appeared professional. However, she seemed overwhelmed, managing three clients simultaneously. Her attention was more on her phone than on her clients. Midway through my appointment, a phone call drastically changed her mood and energy. She became distracted, talking on the phone loudly, which affected her concentration and technique.

Alex was rough with my hair, failing to detangle it properly before styling. She put me under the dryer without rollers, resulting in thick roots before the silk press. When curling my hair, she didn't detangle it first, leading to knots, dryness, and brittleness. When I got home and I took out my wrap I had multiple knots on the ends of my hair. Which never happened to me before.

On my second visit for a blowout, Alex did not apply any product or heat protectant. I was disappointed with how brittle and dry my hair turned out. I now have heat damage with straight ends throughout my hair. Also the price I was told before I came in and after my service drastically increased so you may think you will spend 40$ then after the service it will be like $80 depending on what you’re getting.

I understand that personal issues can arise, but mixing them with work affects the quality of service. A salon should offer a relaxing and pleasant experience, not a stressful one. Let me just say I'm leaving this review without my style even being completed. I recently cut my hair and went really short for the New Year . I needed to find a salon to keep it up. I googled this place and seen the bomb styles and outcomes. Called and got an appointment the same day! When the stylist (LANICE) was running a little late she had the assistant call me and let me know to come 30 minutes later. Upon arrival I was greeted by extremely friendly pleasant and professional black women. Lanice in no time got me in her chair and started. While getting dolled up they came and offered me wine (Happy Hour Friday vibes for sure) as I stated before I'm not even complete but the beginning process has been so pleasant and this is now my home salon and Lanice is stuck with me whether she likes it or not lol wait for the end process pics soon come. It is not every place that you go to get your hair done. The 2 ladies that worked on my hair were extremely rough. Alex, the woman who blow-dried and trimmed my hair, PULLED my hair so much when blow drying that I lost more hair than usual. The ENTIRE time my back was kept in front of the mirror and I was unable to see what she was doing to my hair, specifically when she was trimming. I kept trying to look back in the mirror, and she kept moving my head forward. There was absolutely no discussion of what needed to be trimmed, she just went right in and kept CUTTING (wasn’t even a trim at this point). I am trying to grow my full, long hair back from color damage and this was most definitely NOT the place I should have gone to, to get my hair treated.
