Oriental Star Kitchen — Restaurant in New York

Oriental Star is probably the oldest Chinese take out establishment in the Saint Albans section on Queens, NY. The food is always well prepared and higher quality both visually and pleasing to the pallet. Be warned that if you order you food by phone and go in to pick it up it will be cook & ready but not packaged until you actually show up. Though kind of annoying at times understandable. They don't deliver but I've been told that the better Chinese places don't have to deliver to sell their food. The individuals that prepare the food know what they are doing because they grew up working there. I never eat from any other Chinese Restaurant on Farmers blvd. ----------SUPREME 'S STAY AWAY ORDER-------- Please steer clear of this place, posthaste!! I have had bad food my entire 65 years on this planet. But nothing can outdo this place! The food is so bad that I wouldn't even give it to a dying man on Death Row! The food has no taste, it was hard like it was old, and they are even cheap with the condiments and napkins. Small mom and pop restaurant. Food for takeout, there is no sitting in this restaurant. Love them, authentic Chinese food, not Szechuan.
