An incredible spot to feel and experience the history of the 13 iconic ten-foot -tall stone pillars, “Grand Central Stones,” were placed in Van Cortlandt Park at the turn of the century to identify the most durable material for construction of the Terminal. You can visit after seeing the Van Cortland House Museum.
