To drive an eighteen wheeler to Hunts Point Market on 772 Edgewater Rd, The Bronx, NY 10474 :This is what you need to do, from I-95 N, take exit 1D to I-87 S, to Queens, then drive on I87 until exit #1, after you exit, follow all the signs from Hunts Point Market, take the second Right on Brook Av, there’s a sign in that corner from Hunts Point Market, after you turn, make the first Left on Bruckner Blvd maintain on the 2nd line from the left, until you are driving under the over pass, there stay on the Right Lane to keep driving on Bruckner Blvd, then you make a Right on Leggett Av after exiting the bridge maintain on the left line to merge on Randall Av, then you drive to the end of the road, Make a Left on Halleck St, until yo see the Market Entrance on your Right, When entering the toll gate stay on the 3 left lanes, Pay $30 and you’re in, if you need to wait for a while, there’s always spaces available between Avenue E and Av H, when you are done, the Exit is located at the end of Av F, exiting to Food Center Dr there you make a right and follow the signs to I-95, or I-278.

Broker told me delivery is Sunday morning at 8 (E. Armata Receivers), checked in at 7am, receivers told me it will take all day, waited until 9pm and the night shift receiver that started at 7pm, very agitated and stressed out said that he does not know when they will take me in, he works until 5am, afterwards day shift starts at 8am again, 3 hour gap. He added that best chances are with the morning shift guy again, same one that took my paperwork in the first place. Parking sucks, you go all the way in the back between truck & trailers, super tight spaces, trash everywhere, no cleaning crew that is for sure, but there is a restaurant inside the facility at building C, closes at 5pm or so. Overall experience not very fun, losing a load already based on false promises, waiting all day and paid $30 dollars for entrance fee here. Only go here if the load is paid extremely good, otherwise you are better off anywhere else in my opinion. Been to New York many years and still surprised how in all the chaos I have seen that this is functional and normal.

Im sure that there is a rat problem here. The way the fruit and vegetables are handled here is a pauling. Through out the entire property there is smashed packaging and laying on the ground. Clean is no part of these people's job description. Was here 13 hours there was 2 truck accidents. And a truck hit a pallet of onions a man was pulling with a pallet jack. The box trucks race around at about 50 mph. You have to pay 30 dollars to enter the terminal to deliver your load and as i said the wait was 13 hours so far. Personally the attitude of ANY STAFF MEMBER IS THE MIDDLE FINGER IN YOUR FACE. FROM ANY COMPANY! Will never ever deliver here again. Maybe if the semi trucks boycotted this place things would get better. Because if we dont come here there wouldn't be any food wasted. People might appreciate there job here more as well. Last point WERE IS NEW YORK CITY CODE ENFORCEMENT? THERE ARE PLENTY OF...
