The only reason to go here is to walk through it to get to the mall. I've never seen so many loss prevention people in one place until now. Finding a regular associate, not a cashier, to help you is borderline impossible! I have been shopping here for over 10 years and I will not be going back. I've had a string of bad experiences there but the last one takes the cake! I walked in hoping to find a bikini top of myself and a swimsuit bottom for my mother. The swimsuit section, by one of the front doors, was a mess, but in 10 minutes I found both of the items that I was looking for. The fitting room in that section was closed. So I walked to the other side of the store, that one was closed at well. I went upstairs to the mess of a section (Worthington) and the line to the room was 3-4 people long and some had carts of cloths to try. I only had 1 item to try. I then went to another floor and someone from LP was the FIRST PERSON to say hello to me... I inadvertently gave him a dry hi. I went to another section on that level. That section was messier than the rest and the fitting room was blocked my multiple racks of clothing. I found a cat button up blouse on the way to the lingerie section. The lingerie room was empty and open! She gave me a card that said '3' on it.The swimsuit bottom, the top, and the cat shirt. The attendant was overly talkative, however she pointed out what she liked about each of the three items I had. I actually had to walk away from her just to try on 2 items. The woman had multiple physical ailments and I was trying not to be rude. I tried them on and they didn't work. So I figured I'd just buy my mom the bottom and leave. I put the two items I didn't need on the rack and kept the one item. I handed the attendant the card and she asked me where the other items were. I said I put them on the rack and then I pointed behind her. She looked and then kept asking me where the other items were. I counted the items for her and then I abruptly left. She kept asking me where, as I walked away. I went to 3 different registers trying not to wait in a crazy long line, in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. I found a shorter line in the men's section. After still waiting (a shorter wait than other lines) I paid for the swimsuit bottom and tried to leave. The door alarm went off and there LP was! GIVE ME A BREAK. I showed her the receipt and then she paged someone from her walkie. She took my item and went to the register. I followed her and she gave back my item after giving it to a cashier. Read moreI ORDERED SAME DAY PICKUP DEC 3 and my order was in progress for 3 days. dec 4 I spoke to a representative that said she didn’t know why it was delayed and to call the bay plaza location. I called and a representative in the women’s department hung up on my face 3x. I called 30x and still got hung up on. I contacted the corporate office who tried to make contact after numerous times as well. She finally advised that this location has my item but it’s not ready for pickup. She always said I can go in person and they will be able to process my order. I went and tried to find the item with no assistance when asking customer service. I then went to the pick up like and waited ONE HOUR just to be told they couldn’t find my item and the items I picked out wasn’t it. I then went to find the item and demanded assistance when finally I had to be frustrated to get help. I ask to speak to a manager heather and told her I already paid for the item it’s been 2 days and I just want to go home and get my item. She told me I would have to purchase it again and when they have my item they will give me a refund. I ask will I still get it for the jingle19 code which she advised yes she can do. I went to the fitting room to try my blazer on and had to wait ANOTHER HOUR in the checkout line. Once I finally went to the counter I told the representative my dilemma and thankfully heather was there. Heather said she would over ride the $34.99 to $26.24 but then changed her mind and wouldn’t honor it. She always said I couldn’t use an online code. Thankfully jcpenny sent me a 20% code but I ended up paying $28.00 two dollars more but I didn’t care I just wanted to go home from being up 20hrs. Next day my order was canceled still waiting for my refund. I will never shop here again or do same day pick up. Read moreUnfortunately, the overall experience with the outcome of the pictures was not that great. I was disappointed as I have twins so while I understand that its a challenge the photographer made zero effort in posing or ensuring they looked ok prior to taking the pictures. He just gave instructions to two six year olds and clicked away. For instance sit and cross your legs. While they know how to sit, sitting with dresses is not easy so I had to keep running back and forth to fix them. Then seeming it was graduation pictures I brought balloons. Major mistake! He just put them there on each side and both had different height so looked off. To make it worse on every picture the balloons are sideways and look terrible on the picture. I could have done better at home honestly instead wasted money to be unhappy with the outcome. Then he made zero effort to have them smile nicely. SERIOUSLY, Teeth sticking out, hands all over the place and while it may Sound trivial the balloons are an eye sore. Had the photographer cared about what he was doing would have shown in the quality of what he took. In the past I did pictures with Jordana and she was extraordinary and the pictures looked amazing however she is no longer at jcpenny at coop city and what a loss for them. Will look for a new place tired of the terrible pictures the staff there take and don't care. To keep clicking while I am in the way fixing then and then tlell me don't worry but yes you need to worry about every click because they count the amount of pictures and after 28 pictures they will not take anymore.
