Patti & Christiane and the team at Kitty Family Florist made our wedding a dream come true! Finding a floral designer we felt comfortable with was one of the hardest things to do in our wedding planning adventures. Once we met with the team at Kitty Family Florist we knew we found the perfect team to make our dream come true. When we met with Patti & Christiane they spent the time to listen to our ideas and then they followed that up with a detailed design presentation with the exact flowers that they would use and how it would be displayed. We were floored with this level of detail and care. It was a no-brainer to choose Kitty Family Florist after that. Seeing the actual designs of the flowers helped us with our envisions with the rest of our wedding planning and meeting with future vendors. On the wedding day, the flowers were absolutely stunning! Everything was beyond perfect from my bridal bouquet down to the flowers used for our ceremony. It meant a lot to me to have them help with my envision of adding charms to my bouquet as well, I lost my father and grandfather and having Patti & Christiane add the charms and making my bouquet look amazing made my day that much more special. DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST. Every time a order is placed with them, there is some complication, problem, issue, which requires a cancellation of your original order. This happened to me when I tried to send a Christmas floral arrangement. The most recent issue, when I placed an order for delivery in another state, had to do with the fact that, according to them, there would be an additional delivery charge for out of state which was not reflected in the on-line confirmation of the order. Without notification, they cancelled the order. Then they left a voice mail message stating that they cancelled the order and left a phone number for a florist in the area of the requested delivery. Their manager, Patty, could not seem to comprehend the fact that their website prices SHOULD accurately reflect the actual charges, since the first piece of information one needs to enter is the zip code of the delivery location. When she did not want to hear my complaint, she simply hung up the phone.

I gave them a second chance, after the Christmas complications, but now they are done. I will never use them again. My best advice is that you deal directly with Teleflora for out of state orders. Everyone was so sweet from the time I walked in. Kitty's is the perfect place if you're unsure what you want. All the ladies were incredibly kind and they put options together for me to help me work out ideas I had. And I adored their suggestions, they put so much time and care to make sure you have what you want. Prior I went to Eltingville florist and they're not bad. But the woman was very apathetic and blunt that you need to come knowing exactly what you want. Which is fine for some but for someone who doesn't know a lot about floral arrangements it can feel over whelming. Kitty's took that stress away and no one made me feel bad about being unsure what flowers can go together. If you go to kitty's you'll see they're patient, sweet and you'll feel how much they care about your big day. They showed me sample bouquets, made me a center piece when they had the flowers I was interested in. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.
