Iāve only been a member for 3 months but they made me felt welcome and part of the family since Day 1. Itās one of the biggest things I had missed (and been missing) and the biggest reason why I went to CrossFit. Before here, I had been at other HIIT gyms but what separates this place from the others Iāve been to isā¦even though I literally just met these people a minute ago, I suddenly feel like Iām working out with friends. Everyone is super nice and encouraging. When theyāre done with a workout and out of breath and youāre still at it, theyāll still cheer you on. Thatās what I missed most. The community. Anyone can go work out at any gym. But where can you workout where it feels much more than that? Right here. Also, their programming is great. You definitely feel like you got a good workout in and itās always different all the time and challenging. I had been out of the game for a while so in the beginning, they helped me scale back to make sure I could do the movement correctly before I slowly began to attack the workout RX and the way it was intended. My job's benefits allowed me to invest in this opportunity, which I don't regret. They even accommodated my child when I had trouble arranging childcare. She's now enthusiastic about exercise, eagerly asking for workout times and cheering me on during sessions. If I had a teenager, I'd involve them in this too.
Though I struggled with the app, I received uplifting messages from others. My only gripes relate to limited parking options and the facility's hours, understandable due to coaches' other commitments (main job) and potential religious considerations, like the Sabbath. The area's numerous meters and garages add to the challenge. As it's a CrossFit facility, adaptation is necessary.
