I’ve been to this store a few times and they have a collection of very nice plushies, stationary, toys, etc. I’ve been happy with my purchases in the past. Yes, a little over priced but you get what you pay for.

I finally gave in to FOMO and purchased a Labubu for $80.00. I checked the code on box and doll. My Labubu is authentic. For weeks I have been trying to buy through the POP MART web site and I spend 20 minutes waiting for the count down, hit button to pay, states sold out. So MORNING GLORY has been the only place I can find it.

People complained about the owner. When I go, yes there is an employee watching. Even the owner watches. That store is very small and it’s easy to steal. I am sure they have lost a lot of merchandise to boosters. I live in Queensbridge and you should see what these guys and ladies steal. They hit Steinway, Broadway, Woodside, and more. So try to understand the store is protecting what belongs to them. They are not on the main Blvd. so anyone can run in and grab something. This is a Ma and Pop shop so we should support...

Morning Glory is a popular chain store in Asia. There are several in New York, but I believe this is the only one in this neighborhood. This tiny shop is jam packed full of cute items—all things kawaii. Most of the items are from Asia or are Asian inspired (i.e. Sanrio/Hello Kitty type merchandise). Every time I come here, I end up finding new things that I want to buy for myself or as gifts. They have plushies, stationary, toys, bags, etc. that you would normally find in Asia. I grew up going to shops like these and so I can’t help but feel a bit nostalgic whenever I come here. Yes, most of the items are priced on the higher end but it is fun...

They have a ton of cute stationary and Sanrio/Pokemon/Pusheen stuff. I can understand what some reviewers mean about feeling watched/followed and that making it a slightly uncomfortable shopping experience. But, it's a small business with a lot of very tiny and easy to steal items. In my experience, it seemed as if they were watching everyone in the store, which was a pretty diverse mix of folks in terms of age/race/gender pretty closely. They were also very nice and friendly when people needed help finding stuff. If you want to shop in a place where you will be completely left alone, this isn't it, but you won't find this kind of selection at Target...

The selection of items were huge and the had the cutest stuff here! I ended up getting a contact case with two pink bears on top. The prices here are a bit expensive so beware of that. The people that were working at the cash register kept looking over at me and my boyfriend when we were browsing and it kind of made us feel uncomfortable. Overall, I had a great experience and it was fun to pop in and look at all the cute small items they had!

This is an adorable shop I remember seeing from my childhood back when there was a location at Queens Center. I’m so glad to find it here, the items are great! There are lots of backpacks, toys, cars and trucks, and stuffed animals. They also have some metal travel thermoses, chopsticks, a nice selection of stationery, and so much more. This is a lovely shop.
