We visited the City Hall train station as a part of that Transit museum tour. It was an amazing excursion where we got a chance to look at the train station not just from the window of the subway car, but actually to be able to step on the platform look around. Listened to the story of the train station and the overall history of the subway system in the New York City. A lot of interesting information and fun time.

An amazing place and experience. This was the original "jewel" of the NYC subway system when it opened in 1904. It is only accessible via tour as a member of the New York City Transit Museum. You can also glimpse it by staying on the 6 train south bound from the City Hall/Brooklyn Bridge station since it uses the old City Hall station to loop back around to continue on the...

Visiting Old City Hall Station was like stepping back in time. The architecture is stunning — with beautiful tile work, skylights, and elegant curves. It's a fascinating glimpse into New York’s transit history. Highly recommend for history buffs and...
