Joe's Pizza on Wall Street is an institution for pizza lovers, offering an authentic slice of New York right in the heart of the Financial District. With a reputation built on decades of excellence, Joe's Pizza continues to serve delicious pizzas that appeal to local residents and tourists alike. The combination of fresh ingredients, a proven recipe and quick service makes this pizzeria a must for anyone visiting or working in the area.

Food Quality: Joe's pizza is renowned for its exceptional quality. The crust is thin and crispy, cooked to perfection with a lightly browned edge. The tomato sauce is tasty and well-balanced, while the fresh mozzarella melts evenly, creating a delicious harmony of flavors. The slices are generous and satisfying, with a perfect combination of crunch and softness.

Menu variety: While Joe's is known for its classic margherita pizza, the menu offers a variety of options to please all palates. Variations include mushroom pizza, pepperoni pizza and white pizza, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Additionally, Joe's offers calzones, stromboli and a selection of fresh salads for those looking for something different. Each dish reflects the pizzeria's commitment to authenticity and quality.

Atmosphere and Environment: The atmosphere at Joe's Pizza on Wall Street is informal and welcoming, perfect for a quick lunch break or a relaxed dinner. The decor is simple but functional, with tables and stools that invite you to sit and enjoy a slice of freshly baked pizza. The walls are adorned with historic photos and newspaper articles that tell the story of the pizzeria's long history, adding a touch of nostalgia and authenticity.

Customer care: Service at Joe's Pizza is fast and efficient, a crucial aspect for the many employees who frequent the pizzeria during their lunch break. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to offer advice on the best flavor combinations. Despite the crowds, the waiting time is generally short, thanks to impeccable organization and an oven that churns out pizzas continuously.

Price: Prices at Joe's Pizza are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the central location. A single slice is affordable, making this pizzeria a popular choice for a quick and convenient meal. Whole pizzas are a great deal for groups and families, providing a delicious meal without...

I came in on lunch today at about 1:30p with my coworker and my child. My coworker was greeted and her order was taken. I was next, I stepped up to the counter, I was not acknowledged initially and when I was, it was with a head nod. It's busy didn't take it personal. After putting in my order I stepped to the side to pay. My coworker asked the cashier in Spanish if he can let the server know she wants a box-which he did immediately. I asked the cashier to let the server know I would like a corner slice since he hadn't put my slice in the oven yet he nodded for me to talk to the server- strike 2- but again, it's busy. I follow direction I try to get the attention of the server by saying excuse me multiple times- he ignores me. Then after the 4th time- snaps at me and says I heard you and mocks me "you want a corner". So I reply frustrated and shocked "how would I know you heard me if you're ignoring me?". Then he taunts me and says "ohhhh ready to rumble" as if I was the problem. I work in the area as a municipal employee, and this was my first time eating here. It was a vast difference between how my coworker and I were handled and we were together! It was so blatant we walked back to work in silence because WTH was that about. Stuff like that you try to shake off, and chalk up to some people are just rude. THIS was a little more than just rude and it was obvious, offensive and unwarranted. So offensive I had to come write this review, I cant react because I look like the irate black woman. 2025 and the prejudice is still loud and unprovoked. Oh, and he NEVER warmed my pizza up, just cut it, bagged it, and slid on the counter like I was bothering him. It was embarrassing to be treated that way especially in front of my child. I will share my experience with my...

Joe’s Pizza… where do I start? I ate Joe’s for the first time TWICE at two different locations and both times the pizza tasted the same and was definitely in my top ten pizzas ever eaten. If you’ve checked out my history of reviews, you’ve seen that I love pizza - so top ten is a statement!

This pizza is exactly what I was expecting on my first trip to New York City and is my favorite style of pizza. The crust has just the right amount of crunch, the cheese is the perfect portion, not too much, not too little, the sauce is hearty with just that right hint of sweetness and it’s served HOT and folds just right! If you love “NY Style Pizza”, you’ll love Joe’s.

Both locations I went to had lines out the door but moved those lines fast! The staff was super friendly and appeared to be almost 100% Hispanic (a plus for me since I fall into that category and can appreciate La Raza working hard!) and the locations gave off that chill vibe. The employees definitely were seasoned at both locations because they work fast, have an awesome rhythm and interesting methods to serve you where they stack the pizza on plates in a simple yet efficient way that doesn’t make a mess and makes it easy to divide the slices up. The variety of toppings was also varied and I’m sure there’s something for everyone. If I had to give a negative, it would be that there just isn’t enough seating, inside or out, for the volume. We found ourselves standing up to eat, but I’m thinking that is common in NYC as I’ve seen that a lot at all kinds of non-chain restaurants. I get it, space is at a premium in The Big Apple.

What are you waiting on? Get you a...
