This place was absolutely amazing! Honestly one of the best new places in Forest Hills. I actually made a reservation for 7 people, but then I cancelled because I just wasn't sure if it was going to be 7 people by that time. They called me back, but I was having service issues so I wasn't able to call them back. When I saw that, i thought WOW they really cared that I cancelled the reservation and I felt so bad that I cancelled =( Anywho fast forward and I was hungry. I had some family that was visiting so I suggested that we go. I only had 3 other members with me and I wanted to take them somewhere nice, so I was hoping when we went that we would just walk in. When we walked in, the space was small but quaint and cozy. I asked for a table for 4, but I also explained that I made a reservation earlier and cancelled. I met the owner Arthur, who knew who I was and I was REALLY SURPRISED. He ended up giving us some champagne on the house and did a cheers with us. He was so polite and introduced himself and shook our hands which is unlike a lot of service that I get. He arranged for us to get a table and THAT WAS SO APPRECIATED seeing as we were walk ins. We were seated and immediately taken care of. We ordered our food and the waitress Nina explained all the specials to us. They constantly filled our water glasses and just made sure we were ok. Now the food was absolutely amazing! i ordered the octopus with hummus and grilled vegetables for an appetizer and IT WAS EVERYTHING! So delicious and i had the chicken francese for my main course and ofc that was delicious! Next time I will see if I can have with some linguini or fettucine but the overall dish was delicious! My brother and his wife had something similar and nothing ws left on the plate. While we were seated, Arthur really made it a point to make sure we were ok. My sister wanted something sweet and they made her something she would like. Arthur came over and explained that they were a new restaurant, so he really cared that I cancelled but overall appreciated that I still came. He even let us try a limoncello he made himself which was a nice touch! The service me and my family received was top notch in my opinion. It had a personable touch and everyone seemed like they wanted to be on their P's and Q's with service. I will definitely be visiting again very soon!

I'm excited to see a new restaurant rejuvenate the neighborhood after so many restaurants in the area did not survive the covid impact. Radici has a cozy industrial feel with exposed brick, visible vents, and reclaimed wood tables; it merges rustic and modern extremely well. The staff are all very friendly and we even met the owner, Arturo, who goes out of his way to make his customers feel welcome. The food is absolutely superb. The pasta tasted so fresh and the sauce reminded us of what our Nonna would've made, it's really a nice and bright Neopolitan sauce. We normally don't order dessert but how can someone pass on a Nutella calzone topped with fresh strawberry slices? The dough was so light that it makes me want to return for a savory calzone. Arturo recommended an Italian Moscow Mule which tastes like homemade hard lemonade and the old-fashioned was the best one I've ever had. This will be my new special dinner spot!

So glad we bought a good phone to take pic of their food, money well spent! Jokes aside, 3 reasons why you should try this new place: 1. Some of the most well-balanced Alla Vodka sauce ever with nicely cooked Rigatoni 2. Pizza dough and the table bread was world-class, fluffy and fresh-scented 3. Tiramisu was moist, bitter, and not too sweet, just as god intended Our host graciously offered some of their home-brewed limoncello and put the ones we bought from Amafi to shame. Overall, we can definitely taste the skill and craftsmanship in the details. You should expect to pay half a paycheck if you find a nice Italian place with nice entree + dessert in Manhattan. But this is good o’ Queens, so the bill was very reasonable and we’ll definitely be back for more. 在Queens 能有这种水平的正宗意大利餐厅,且吃且珍惜,请移步小红书检索Radici 看队友发的测评 🫶

A true GEM: Radici delivers an unforgettable dining experience Radici is a new culinary treasure offering an exquisite menu of homemade pasta that captures the essence of authentic Italian cuisine in every bite. The statement “serving authentic Italian flavors in every bite” couldn’t be more accurate. it’s a promise fully realized the moment you step inside. From the moment you arrive, you are enveloped in an atmosphere that is both inviting and warm, a reflection of the restaurant's name, which means “roots” in Italian. Radici truly embodies its namesake by staying grounded in tradition while elevating every aspect of the dining experience to world-class standards.

What sets Radici apart is not only the outstanding food but the impeccable service led by Arturo, the owner, and his brother. They are the heart and soul of this establishment. Their presence is magnetic, and their commitment to hospitality is unlike anything I’ve experienced. Even on a busy evening, Arturo and his brother made each guest feel like the only person in the room, offering personalized attention that made the experience feel both intimate and memorable. Their service is nothing short of extraordinary—thoughtful, attentive, and genuine. It’s clear they take immense pride in not just serving food but in creating lasting moments for their guests. You truly feel catered to in a way that exceeds five-star standards. If I could give Radici 10 stars, I would.

The food and drinks were outstanding every dish bursting with fresh, authentic flavors. Each bite of the homemade pasta was crafted with care and skill. Paired with their selection of mocktail or cocktail, the meal became an experience I’ll never forget. Radici is a must-visit. It’s more than just a restaurant, it’s a place where passion, culture, and hospitality interconnect. I fell in love with it instantly and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience with heartfelt service and divine cuisine, Radici should be at the top of your list. Congratulations to Arturo, his brother, and the entire Radici team you’ve created something...

Unfortunately the food is very mediocre and not great. Even worse, they don’t use pure extra virgin olive oil!

We stumbled upon Radici on our way to another Italian restaurant we were planning to have a late lunch at. We were enticed by the chalkboard outside that noted rib eye ragu pappardelle and the variety on the menu.

We ordered the roasted beet salad, tortellini with brown butter and sage stuffed with spinach and ricotta, and chicken parm that came with a side of spaghetti.

The salad barely had any dressing and we were mostly eating dry arugula. The beets and goat cheese were delicious, though. We asked for olive oil to drizzle on the salad. The waiter came by with a bottle of olive oil that tasted like canola oil. It definitely was not pure extra virgin olive oil and likely was cut with canola or grapeseed oil. How disappointing for an Italian restaurant.

Then my tortellini was so mushy and I could barely taste the sage and brown butter. It was sitting on a very watery sauce. It’s likely that they cooked it with brown butter and watered it down. It also had barely any salt and flavor.

My husband who’s Italian ordered the chicken parm. He said the chicken was mushy and not crispy like chicken parm is supposed to be. His side of spaghetti was also watery at the bottom. He opted for olive oil and garlic instead of red sauce. It was olive oil and water in the sauce.

The restaurant itself seems to be family friendly and has lot of natural light. Service was okay. Not very attentive.

I wouldn’t go back or recommend...
