We're so disappointed with this park. Before they renovated it, there were play areas for all kids. Now the entire park is for toddlers up to 5 year olds. There is a toddler area, but bigger kid equipment, which is rated 5-12 years of age, consists of a continuous ramp with no climbing equipment, and the only slide is about 30" from the ground. It looks wonderful from afar, but my 7 year old daughter was through it all in under 5 minutes, as you can only walk through. I'm sure it's pretty good for toddlers, but school age kids need a place to play as well. It might be that they were trying to make a playground for kids of all abilities, but in my book it's a fail. We were glad to see they kept the tree stump area and the squirrels, which is where my daughter spent the majority of time.

Great playground my kids love it. There are many things for the kids to touch and play. The only issue is the following, it’s a bit off the beaten track and there are no bathrooms. The park was renovated a couple of years ago so the play items are quite new.

Perfect fairly new jungle gym. large manicure field for some soccer. It's nice and shady in certain areas and you really feel you're in a forest, lions, tigers, and bears oh my.

No bathrooms - I don't understand how you DON'T have bathrooms. It's beyond inconvenient for non local park goers to walk down to Stop and Shop with their kids to use the bathroom. This is a huge oversight. The water fountain is too tall for little kids to reach. Metal slides get REALLY hot in the summer. Limited number of swings despite the copious amount of space...Add to that, the INSANE amount of mosquitoes... Would be nice if they would spray for the bugs...or maybe plant some citronella throughout the park. Overall the park is nice, especially compared to what it used...

Past by the area and my 7 yr old wanted to play. He was happy to explore the playground for the first time. After 15 mins. the only thing he was happy with was the "Tire Swing" as he played with other boys his age. The park is ideal for toddlers age 2-5. I would give it more stars but it didn't have a bathroom. We had to walk all the way to McDonald's on Metropolitan Ave. **Not an ideal playground for out of area visitors...
