This is THE BEST bike shop experience! The owners and their employees are amazing. I stopped by this local bike shop to look for a new bike that my teenage son could ride around for the Summer. Joey made excellent recommendations and was super patient with all my questions. I learned so much in just the 15-20 mins speaking with him. Next day, thank goodness the bike was still there and my son rode it around on the street to test it out. There’s plenty of room in a safe area to test out the bike to go around a few times right outside the shop. It was a brief wait to have a kickstand added and for them to make sure the bike was properly tuned up to be safely used once it leaves their shop. They helped me load my car with the bike despite how busy it was in the shop. Any bike purchased there gets lifetime of tuneups. Again, amazing experience and great customer service. Everyone is friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. My son has gone out for a ride 7 times in the past 2 days. He can’t get enough and it’s awesome to see him get out there safely and not sitting at home on a device. Mission accomplished.

Wow—just wow! As someone completely new to the world of road bikes, I walked into the shop feeling totally lost. But from the moment I stepped in, the staff went above and beyond. I was incredibly fortunate to be helped by Aidan, who was not only knowledgeable but genuinely excited to share his expertise. He patiently walked me through everything, kept my budget in mind, and made the entire process feel easy and empowering. It wasn’t just customer service—it was a masterclass in how to treat people right. I left feeling confident, informed, and super excited about this new journey. Jerry and Joani beyond welcoming! I highly recommend this place to anyone—whether you’re a beginner like me or a seasoned cyclist. I can’t wait to bring my future bike here for a tune-up. Trust me, you’ll be in the best hands. Five stars all the way!

Jerry and the rest of the team at Peak Bike shop understand customer service and have real cycling expertise to back it up. I took my outdated Schwinn in for a new shifter. This old thing probably isn’t worth the time to repair or effort to source replacement parts. That didn’t stop Jerry from scouring the web and his bike pile to find a replacement for a discontinued 5 gear shifter and rear derailed. He never gave up on the project and honored his original quote despite going above and beyond to make sure I was able to get back on the road. Love this shop and will be a loyal customer moving forward! -Justin

The first time I went here was about a year ago. I was building my first set of wheels and had bought the wrong spoke length for my rim. I looked to see if there was a bike shop close to me and Peak showed up as being a few blocks away. I perchased what I needed and met Jerry. He was very helpful and mentioned that I should bring my wheels in once I was done. Once completed I brought in my wheels, he complimented me on how true they were, which was awesome to hear since this was my first time buiding a set of wheels. But they weren't tensioned enough and Jerry also explained that they needed to be pulled more on one side and not be centerted in the middle. He charged me $24 for adjusting both wheels, which was fine for me. It was a good learning experience and the price was very reasonable.

The next time I went there was a little over a month ago and I spoke to Jerry about a bike that I want to build from the frame up. The frame that I was wanting to use was a 2013 GT Force Sensor 2.0 (Large). I had almost replaced evrything on my old bike myself and wanted to take on a new challenge. Hence me wanting to build an entire bike and Jerry explained a few things and was guiding me about parts and sizes. I learned a lot in that little conversation we had and decided to go through with my build.

Now fast forwarding to yesterday, I had just finished my second pair of wheels which are for my new bike and had Jerry look them over. One was perfect and didn't need any adjustment and my rear wheel was about a 1/4 in. off, Jerry adjusted it and I left a very happy customer.

Thanks Jerry for your help and knowledge, I definitely...

My first steps into this store, I felt a little like Bart Simpson walking into the Android's Dungeon. Having just tried (and failed) to assemble my first purchased bike in over 20 years, I needed help. Badly. Thankfully, the owner was ANYTHING but Comic Book Guy.

Jerry is a swell guy if there ever was one. :) Despite having "NOOB" written all over my face, this man treated me like any other customer. He solved any problems and answered any questions I had, no matter how amateurish they might've seemed. He'll even offer advice.

I feel more educated about bikes everytime I talk to this guy. I've always been beyond pleased with the service he's provided. I specifically recall one instance where I had a flat and despite the fact that the replacement tire was a little more expensive than the one I had, he gave it to me for the same price. I was stunned, and thanked him profusely. How many store owners are that nice these days?! Not many!

I hope this place lasts forever. It's a shame I'm moving to another state soon, cause there's not another bike shop I'd rather give my business to than Peak Bikes. They even offer free tuneups for life if you buy a bike from them. Jerry and his wife are really unique store owners. As unbelievable as it may sound, despite the obvious age difference between the three of us, I could actually picture them as friends. Really special...

I've been to a lot of bike shops, but Peak is by far my go-to, even though I don't actually live anywhere near there, and I always recommend them to friends and riding buddies.

About 8 years ago I was riding an old bike that started skipping gears on a ride. I was many miles from home, so I looked up bike shops near me. Peak was the top-rated shop close to my location, so I rode over there. Jerry made a couple of adjustments, and it rode beautifully. I took out my wallet to pay, but he didn't want anything for it. From this moment I decided to go to Peak for safety checks, parts, and advice, and they've always taken good care of me. When it came time to buy my son a bike, Peak was the place. And when my old bike reached retirement, they came through for me.

Jerry, Joani, and their staff are straight-forward. They don't talk down to customers with less experience, like in some shops, and they never try to upsell you something you don't need.

They do great work, give you a clear estimate of cost for repair or replacement, turn around your bike when they say they will, and they always vouch for their work. They are usually very quick, but will be honest when they're backlogged.

And yes, the free tune-ups and adjustments for the life of a purchased bike is real, and it's amazing. It's no wonder they have such great...
