On behalf of The Center for the Women of New York, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Aegea West Mediterranean Kitchen for their generous and delicious donation to our Taste of the World at Fort Totten gala. They provided a large tray of Greek salad that was an absolute standout. The salad was incredibly fresh and vibrant, with crisp cucumbers, juicy tomatoes, crunchy peppers, and tangy Kalamata olives. The feta cheese was creamy and plentiful, and the homemade dressing was perfectly balanced with olive oil and oregano. It was a refreshing and healthy highlight that our guests truly appreciated. It is because of wonderful local businesses like Aegea that we are able to successfully raise vital funds for our mission of supporting women in the New York community. Their commitment to giving back shows a genuine care for the people around them, and it is exactly the kind of business I want to support. We highly recommend Aegea West Mediterranean Kitchen for their fresh, authentic Mediterranean cuisine and their tremendous generosity. Thank you for your kindness and for helping make our event a success.

Update 11/25/17: This is the third time in a row that Iorder delivery from this place and my cheeseburger gets delivered soggy from "throwing it" in the same container as the salad with dressing on it, causing it to get absorbed by the bun. They also "stuff" the french fries in with the burger and salad, ehich actually don't fit, and everything gets squashed (see photos). The fries end up soggy also because of the salad dressing. They never care about packing the food correctly and how it actually reaches the customer. Downgrading them from 4 stars to 2 stars of my original review. Amazing Fresh Angus Burger Deluxe Plate. Juicy burger, comes with FF and a very nice salad. Friendly staff. Only drawbacks are 1) finding parking outside and 2) The fact that they close early.

Just had a pork souvlaki stick from Aegea West in Douglaston — tender, juicy, and perfectly grilled with that classic char. I also tried the charcoal-grilled burger, and it was a sleeper hit — smoky, well-seasoned, and cooked over real fire, which you don’t find often at casual spots like this. I got to chat with Mike, the owner, who’s been holding it down here for 21 years — a real accomplishment in such a tough industry. Coming from a family that ran a restaurant, I respect how much work and heart that takes. If you're in Douglaston and craving Greek comfort food or a great charcoal burger, Aegea West is a longtime neighborhood staple that deserves your support.

I have been a customer of Aegea since they opened. Only problem I had was after the fire when they first reopened. After tonight I will no longer be ordering from them.

They won't take orders over the phone, forcing you to use their online site. Fine. I can handle that. I ordered a bacon cheese burger deluxe. Never had any issues. I bit into this burger and it just tasted wrong. I look at the meat and the inside of the burger is completely rare and the bacon is barely cooked. I call the place to let them know they sent me an uncooked burger and the girl who answered told me that that is how it comes and then proceeds to put on the chef. He asked what the problem was and I told him that the burger isn't cooked, he told me it's medium, when you don't specify they cook it medium. This burger is not medium and there is nowhere online to actually specify. He jokingly said "so that's why your pissed", so I said yeah when I order food I expect it to be cooked. The "bro" said well don't order here again and hung up on me.

I don't understand what type of people they have working here, these people have zero customer service. I just had to cook the food I paid for. It's...

Christina took my order over the phone and I literally flew over there from wood haven queens I usually like this pizza that’s because they make it fresh on the spot when you go there but I didn’t want to wait long so the cooks thought it best to give me a stale pizza am very disappointed this was once one of my favorite pizzas after this bad experience I won’t be having pizzeria pizza anymore and will be sticking to Domino’s Pizza Hut and papa John’s with 2 exceptions danis pizza there sauce is amazing and spumoni garden as I never had from them.. the one plus I must note the garlic bread is delish but I was sold stale pizza on 11-27-20 around 1:20 pm

1-27-21 Very disappointed the owner did not try to make things right or credit me back very sad I will not be coming back there.

You can clearly see in my pictures that I posted the condition of the bread that I paid for and bought 2 unfortunately.

2-19-23 I still haven’t went back to this place since then nor did the owner reimburse me , and that’s sad they would do that to me SHAME ON...
