Best Garden — Restaurant in New York

I have been ordering Best Garden for years. After Covid, prices drastically went up with delivery, but I still ordered every few months. My son craves it, so I do it more for him. Saying all that, they no longer let you order white rice as an option with boneless ribs. Now it’s required to put brown rice. I don’t eat brown rice, so I always put in the notes to change it to white. Never had a problem before until last night. Ordered through Uber Eatslike usual, and guess what, no rice in sight. Spending over $43 not including tip, to get no rice??? Now I need to cook my own rice??? Unacceptable! UE was aware, and never credited me and BG never made it right…Best Garden is getting greedy and heartless. I told my son I’m done with spending my hard earn $ on them. Not the kind of service I expected after many years, but it’s a learning lesson…Beware with the options,...

Best Garden Chinese Restaurant is relatively new to the area, glad I tried Best Garden. I love Fried Dumplings. Best Garden knows how to make them right , and I can tell you as someone who's sensitive to "MSG" I did NOT detect there was any MSG in my order, so that was pleasing as well, no late night headaches or dry mouth for me :) I've just ordered for my fourth time in less than a month In case your wondering - NO, they didn't pay me to write this, I'm just an average Joe, writing an honest review, and in this instance, a well deserved, Damm Nice review, because in this day & age when service and quality tend to lack, when you discover a gem in the rough, it's worth noting, & to my taste - Best Garden is a cut above the rest!...

rarely do i write a review, I tried this place since its fairly close. First time the food was ok. but the second time I ordered take out I ordered lo mein and fried rice. some soup. I threw it all in the garbage after a few bites... all three where totally inedible. I almost never do this but i just couldn't eat it. the fried rice was mostly undone with it being mostly white rice and the chicken was almost raw...the chicken and rice soup was all rice and no soup...there was literally maybe 2-3 tablespoons of broth in the whole thing with nothing but rice in the bowl.
