One thing that can definitely be said about this and much of the other outdoor athletic facilities at Queens College, and that is thanks to a concerted effort in recent decades to upgrade the athletic fields, this is one field that has seen as a huge improvement over what used to be. About thirty years ago this field, used by both soccer and lacrosse, was a bumpy, pit filled, rock strewn, mixture of sparse grass, soil, dust, and mud, conglomerating into one giant slosh pit. It also had a very definitive uphill downhill slant to it. Now, the field has been leveled even, field turf has been installed, a nicely surfaced track encompasses the field, and a large set of permanent stands have been put in. A few amenities are still missing though. A press box, even a small one, is needed (Ever try covering or transcribing a soccer or lacrosse match on computer in a driving rainstorm or raw cold blustery day? Not easy, I assure you). Also, more readily available restrooms could be used here. But all told, it's a nice facility for fans to enjoy...

There is the main field and a practice field down below. There is a parking garage adjacent...

It is lit well enough to see the entire track and the surrounding area so you would know if someone was trying to sneak up on you. Overall not the worst definitely...
