Surprisingly ghetto library. You can’t just go in, the doors are locked and an employee has to open it for you. And then the grand finale of walking in and noticing that there are two cops posted at the front. I live in Jamaica Queens and even our libraries aren’t so bad that all of this is necessary. I was really shocked.
And it’s loud for a library. The teens can get loud but the staff is even louder. The security guards never tells these loud teens to be quiet even when there are people trying to read/study. The bathrooms are disgusting and the floors are covered in fluid. The short black lady who works at the front with her hair in a bun is loud and laughs like a hyena. They also don't take the bathrooms out of service for cleaning even if the slippery floors are a hazard.
