Rockaway Beach Cycles — Attraction in New York

I went here for a tire fix, the guy sitting at the front desk was talking on the phone and playing a game when i got there and waited awhile before i actually got to talk to him. He told me to pick up the bike the next day at the same time i came in. When I came back the same guy told me it wasn’t ready and hasn’t been able to see it yet because it had been busy (everyone in that store was sitting doing nothing and the guy actually fixing bikes went outside to smoke), but surprisingly right before i left he knew something else had to be fixed besides the tires. I said okay fix whatever i want the bike, but honestly how’d you know that if the bike was never seen yet? Next day they called saying something else is wrong with the bike and generally felt like a scam of not my money, but my time. It felt worthless at that point because i saw so many reviews talking about how you should never bring your bike here for repair. I agree, don’t bother...

What a great experience we had purchasing a trike for my mom. Chris the owner couldn’t do enough to assist us with finding her a bike and accommodating our schedules for picking it up. When we arrived to pick up moms new bike Chris took the time to make sure the seat and handlebars were adjusted for her and that she was comfortable with how the bike operates. Just when we thought we were all done Chris Offer’s to walk to our truck and help load and secure the bike. Talk about top notch service. I will definitely recommend Rockaway Beach Cycles to anyone looking to purchase, rent or have any work done...

Staff is exceptionally friendly. They were wonderful and recommending a Seven Peaks Gear Bike. Gave it to me for a great price. Always helpful if I need something. Highly recommended.
