This place is a SCAM! Do not book here! If you want an authentic ice skating experience, go to the ice skating rink underneath the Brooklyn Bridge. It is much nicer with far more beautiful views.
We wanted to go ice skating underneath the Brooklyn Bridge and booked tickets in advance. However, the website for this ice skating rink is incredibly misleading. Upon arriving at the rink underneath the Brooklyn Bridge (the correct one), we discovered that we had mistakenly booked tickets for the wrong place. We called this place to explain what happened and asked for a refund. The first thing the lady on the phone said was, and I quote, “We don’t give refunds. This is not the first time this has happened and won’t be the last. We don’t give refunds.” So, they are fully aware that people are being misled by their website and Google advertisements, yet they choose to do nothing about it. It’s sad that people try to earn money this way. I’m writing this review in the hopes that it prevents others from making the...
Read moreNice views & solid skating. Rink is a decent size, not too small. Free open storage for shoes & the option for paid lockers (no backpacks allowed on the rink). There's plenty of seating for guests, and a little bit of seating with rubber floors for when the zamboni is working. Food & drinks aren't up yet, but there was a small foodtruck outside with hot chocolate, hot cider, and ice cream. All the rentals have buckles which is easier to get on and off than the laces IMO. They disenfect with a liquid spray and there's a good chance it'll be a bit moist when you put them on. The first skates I tried on were incredibly painful (digging into my ankle), so I mentioned this and the guy behind the counter and he looked and swapped them out for a different pair. Might be a known issue with a certain model. New pair felt fine & after the swap it was smooth...
Read moreThe best ice skating in Williamsburg, with a nice view to the East River and Manhattan. You can skate in almost every weather, they are renting out skates, and you can also bring your own skates. They have a special place for the shoes, but it's at your own risk. For a safer place, I will recommend renting out a locker from them. You can buy tickets on the spot, or you can make a reservation, and the prices are the same. You can skate day or night rain or shine, and if you're getting engaged, it's a very nice place to propose. They have very good staff, who are ready for anything and everything, with the...
