On Friday, August 22, 2025, I had the pleasure of visiting a charming pizzeria with my family in the vibrant Brooklyn Domino Park area. Accompanied by my wife and children, we decided to order a classic cheese pizza, which initially struck us as a bit pricey at $32. However, given the lively atmosphere of the neighborhood, it seemed fitting.

When we placed our order, I chatted with the manager about my preference for a pizza without any lumps. He kindly assured me that it would take about 10 minutes to prepare, adding that it would come out with a perfectly crisp crust and no dough imperfections. He apologized for any inconvenience and offered my children a peach soft-serve ice cream while we waited. That ice cream was truly magnificent—quite possibly the best soft serve I've ever tasted!

When our pizza finally arrived, it was a sight to behold. The golden, bubbling cheese atop a beautifully crafted crust made it look absolutely magnificent. Each bite was scrumptious and savory, confirming the manager’s promise of quality. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the customer service was exceptional. Hats off to the manager—it was undoubtedly one of the best pizzas...

NEW NEIGHBORHOOD HOT SPOT ALERT

We live down the road and been watching construction on this place. Certainly many neighborhood pizza joints so we were curious what would make it stand out.

Let me tell you… this place is outstanding. We ordered pick up and had a hand written note from the owner, Wylie Dufresne (Michelin star chef by the way), on the pizza box and everyone was incredibly nice in my brief interactions.

Pizza stayed warm and it was so beautiful we almost (key word almost) didn’t want to eat it. Split half pepperoni and half cheese. Traditional NYC pie that pays homage to the greats but somehow finds its niche. The crust was crunchy and the ratio of dough, sauce, cheese and pepperoni was very thought through. Not too much of anything nor too little.

This was our first time at Stretch and I’d be very shocked if the next time was anything less. They also do individual slices with some fun flavors.

Highly recommend checking out Stretch Pizza in Williamsburg right near Domino Park. Don’t skip it and think “oh great another pizza joint”… it certainly deserves its spot...

Got my seal of approval ! I'm a native new Yorker born and raised so obviously I had pizza throughout my life . Its been a very long time since I had pizza this good My family and I stopped by today and we had a whole pile of sausage and peppers and I was blown away I love how all the ingredients worked well. I love the honey added on I love the burnt crust added flavor to the experience normally I'm not a fan but in this exception I'm alright with it . Staff was amazing they alerted us of a fire drill testing and they are very kind I love the atmosphere I would...
