I booked a reservation for my daughter's 17th birthday dinner for five of us. We arrived on time the atmosphere and decor was modern and inviting. I'm assuming maybe because it was a Thursday night the restaurant was practically empty. There were maybe two other tables dining, but that was fine. We were seated at a corner round table directly in the path to the bathroom with a large table of like nine people behind us, which was quite unpractical and uncomfortable, considering the entire restaurant was basically empty. This was a first time for all five of us being here at first glance the menu did not have a large selection of food at least not what we were expecting. The appetizers that did arrive were more like finger foods. The tuna spicy tacos came three on a plate and literally fit in between my thumb & index finger they were legitimately the size of a lemon wedge,. Prior to ordering the waitress assured us that the appetizers were all shareable, which was not the case. The portions were three pieces per plate and there were five of us so obviously we wound up having to order two of each appetizer. We also ordered the sliders which were tiny as well not very flavorful. The meat inside was pretty dry. The steak and potato flautas also came on a tiny plate and were about the size of your index finger and this time I believe there were four on the plate, same goes for the steak skewers they were absolutely tiny about middle finger length on an average hands and there were three on a plate, the ceviche mixto was absolutely disgusting, i've never seen tilapia served in a ceviche or sushi like dish. It was so extremely fishy and disgusting that it overpowered the flavor of any other fish on the plate.....They also serve it with pieces of sweet potato that are practically raw ... as for our entrées, I had the 10oz churasco ( skirt steak) which I ordered, medium rare of course it came to the table completely well done and dry so that had to be sent back so unfortunately by the time my food came, everyone was already finished with their entrées. My best friend ordered the chicken dish with the cream sauce the chicken was extremely dry as well that had to be sent back and she exchanged that for the fettuccine Alfredo which also was an extremely small portion almost like a child's portion my 19 year-old son ordered the pasta as well and he had to order two bowls, my daughter, the birthday girl order the filet mignon, which she seemed to be pretty happy with and her friends ordered the same. They both said it was pretty good. for drinks we just had flavored lemonade and waters while I was in the bathroom at one point apparently a photographer came over to the table and took a bunch of photos then later came over trying to sell five different photos to us at $25 apiece What was really nice was they brought out a birthday sign that I had pre-ordered on this light up board which had my daughter's name.Overall the food was extremely underwhelming definitely would not recommend this place to anyone but what made the experience absolutely horrific was that when it was time to pay, I scan my phone to use Apple Pay and they wound up charging my card four times in the amount of $562 It was to the point that I had to contact the bank and pull up my banking app to show them on my phone that they have processed my payment 4 individual times because they kept assuring me that the payment didn't go through... in order to leave the restaurant I had to actually Zelle my payment to the owners phone. Even though I will eventually get my money back from the bank having my card charged 4 times causing the funds to be withdrawn and preventing us from being able to utilize the card for the rest of the evening because the card wound up being blocked due to their faulty payment system. It is two days later and only one of my payments has been reversed and to add insult to injury. They had the audacity to still charge me the $10 for the valet payment after this nightmare...
Read moreWhere do I even begin. I’ve been fan of blend since its first opening in LIC. So when I found out there was a Williamsburg location opening I was thrilled because it was blocks away from home. My first initial time going, I went with my boyfriend and my son and it was by far the worse experience I’ve ever had in any blend. I couldn’t believe it. We waited over an hour to be served and our food was cold when it arrived. We could tell it was understaffed however none of upper management were helping their one server. We walked out got the manager and explained our frustrations and left the poor server $100 because we felt bad she really didn’t have any help. I didn’t go back until months later when my sister said to give it another shot.
I’m so glad I did because let me tell you Jasmine has changed that place for the complete better. She’s the reason I keep coming back and having all of my events there. I’m a General Manager and the level of detail that goes into everything she does is simply unmatched. She goes above and beyond to meet your every need to ensure your event goes without a hitch. She puts her whole team of aces in their places to ensure a seamless event and makes sure your experience is unforgettable. The way she’s changed this place deserves all the recognition. You’re really lucky to have her as I would take her as my event manager in a heart beat if she’d let me.
She was able to accommodate a last minute request for my best friends engagement party, my birthday party, and my mother’s 60th birthday. To have this all be last minute you would’ve thought we were planning for months. She delivered more than I could have ever asked for. She thought of every single detail. The team she put together to help us went above and beyond every-time. All of the servers who attended to us really gave it their all to make us feel like we were VIP. Geraldine really went above and beyond for my family and I for my mother’s 60th birthday. There were over 40 of us and she handled us with such care. The customer service from the whole team and the attention to detail really blew it out of the water for me. And the food?!!! The steak is to die for. The shrimp, French toast, the chicken, ceviche, the arepitas. Everything was mouth watering everyone raved about the food and drinks.

BUT
I will never recommend this place , the one star is for the decoration , because that’s all this place have going for them , horrible ventilation , it was a horrible experience.
Service: first thing we did when we sat down was ordered our drinks , the waitress seems ok but when the drinks came out it was spilling all over the place because it was overfilled. They were VERY stingy with the napkins , like gave one napkin then had to ask for more then gave another single one….. Just unbelievable
2 . I’m a pescatarian, the menu had a few shrimp dishes that I was really excited to try. Our waitress came back to take appetizers orders , when it was my turn to order I asked for the Ceviche Mixto and then another shrimp meal for my main, she proceeds to say there is no shrimp for the main course, then explained to her that I don’t eat meat is there anything to substitute the shrimp with , she then proceeds to say she can asked the kitchen to prepare Salmon but she will double check , that point we already been at the restaurant for about 30+ minutes. She then comes back about 5 mins later , to say they can’t substitute the shrimp with fish , then tells me with have eggs and salad meal. Like are you serious , the unprofessionalism was unbelievable. At this point my girlfriend was not happy
My friend then asked to speak with a manager, 15mins later he comes , she explains to him that her friend doesn’t eat meat and the waitress explained to us that they can substitute the shrimp with fish. The manager proceeds to say something to the waitress in Spanish then she turns to us to say that they were no fish or shrimp , no seafood, ( so not even the appetizer) another unbelievable expression on my face. I’ve been to many restaurants and the moment they start taking your order if something is not on the menu they let you know before placing your order. The manager was not nice nor sincere and most important not accommodating and very unprofessional.
We decided to pay for our drinks and left and will...
