The Retreat Spa Suite — Attraction in New York

Sue was warm and welcoming when I came to the door. The first thing I said was how good it smells in here. It was lovely and tranquil. We talked about my skin concerns and what I was looking to accomplish with the visit. The treatment room was nicely set up. There was a covering for me to wear. The table had a heated mat to lay on, which is always relaxing. Sue made sure I was comfortable and would let me know the steps she would do as we went along. She let me know the needle used for extraction was for a one time use, so I know she was conscious of keeping things very clean. The steps of cleaning, exfoliating, and microdermabrasion were very thorough without being harsh. My pores were glowing afterwards. Also did some pressure points on my face to help with lymphatic drainage. And Sue told me about a sunscreen she uses and how it was cheaper than a fancy one. She sent me the link. I was hesitant to get a facial from a place where I didn't have firsthand reviews from, but I do not regret going to the Retreat Spa Suite! During the first appointment, Sue takes the time to get to know your skin type, the type of products you've been using, and what you are trying to accomplish. She then explains the process to you throughout the facial, to make sure that you are aware and comfortable. I almost fell asleep because the room was so relaxing and the facial was pleasant! Sue is very meticulous and truly a professional, and still keeps the prices very reasonable compared to other places for her clientele. I already came back 4 weeks later for another appointment and can't wait to schedule...

My skin is normally oily and sensitive. I’ve always put off getting a facial fearing my face would get super bruised afterwards like a leopard. Ive been having acne, and super clogged pored. Sue done an amazing job with extractions. It was not as painful as I thought it would be. She is gentle and effective, and she takes her time to really get in there. My skin super soft and smooth. No more bumpy skin. I love it!! Definitely recommend!!! I will be coming back. Book ASAP cause her calendar is already filled up...
