This location needs a Shake up in Staff and Management. Just Poor Customer Service and extremely (Rude) unprofessional employees. This new set of employees that they have. Hired at this location. Since the labor shortage caused by the pandemic. Is the worst how they treat when in store. Is like don’t bother me I’m just here to collect this check and leave. It’s bad I started to do online orders. for pick up so i could have limited interaction. With the staff, on Tuesday 05/04/24 I had order for pick up. While there waiting behind a DoorDasher. Who was picking up an order. The employee who I didn’t get a chance. to see her name . Was so rude and disrespectful and dismissive to the doordasher. She brought the items he was to pick up. But it seems as if items was missing. he tried to Articulate that to he. But she told he move go over there get out the way. Then proceeded to ask me. what I’m there for and what’s my order number. So I said to her finish helping him. It’s obvious there is a language barrier and there. Was a problem. She said he needs to move and go to the other side. When I told her I didn’t want her taking care of my order. She stormed off to the back area where the orders are processed. So I went and found someone who I asked. Are you a supervisor. Then went on to explain to her what had transpired. When she went to the area that disrespectful Rude employee was. to find out from her what had happened. She came back to me basically saying. What the employee did was right. To brush him off and push him to the side because. Online orders are Priority and she needed to help me as quick as possible. Whenever I’ve gone to this location and have had issues I realize. That the behavior of the employees is reinforced by supervisors and Management. Moral of my Story is Avoid this location until they get their staff and...

I should I begin with the disability discrimination since it’s the reason why I absolutely dread coming to this location? To be looked at in disgust because I inquire about then request access to use the motorized vehicles is one thing but to have all of that done to me then be rudely shouted at that I am not elderly therefore I don’t need one is another. This is three visits in a row. The manager would be alerted of their door bully but they called back to the customer service desk 3 times to see if I had left yet. After 25 mins, ruined plans, an upset child and with my triggered disability, I left to salvage what plans had already been ruined for my evening and holiday. Here I am ready to shop again for the month and trying to figure out where else to go besides this nightmare, where all the staff stops and stares throughout the store. Not offering to help and giving attitude when you ask questions so they can give unhelpful and slow answers... with the exception of a handful of good employees along the way of course. Smh. Did I mention the inconsistency with pricing and how the coupons never ring at the register? Did I bring up how there is no signal in the store and your coupons leave your app when you try to navigate the clunky clip feature before you get to the cashier that has no clue how it works? There are never in store coupons. What is the point of this...

As someone who worked in this store for 5 years (2012-2017) I have a more intimate experience of how this store runs. So allow me to throw in my 2 cents on the matter: 1- there was a massive management change that went on in 2016. 2- the current general manager of the store has brought morale of the store way down from the time he got there to the time I left. It is still going on today. 3- the current overnight team (which I was a part of) also has gone through some changes and some very good workers have left. There are some good workers who remain but the team is burnt out. 4- the current overall management team deals with a lot of stupidity from customers, it's own employees and is also burnt out. 5- the customer is NOT always right. 6- the cashiers who you complain about most, have no patience to deal with your nonsense. People call out sick in that store quite a bit and they get stretched thin. Remember that when you complain about long lines at the register. 7- Finally, the store overall has it's flaws the employees are over worked and underpaid for the nonsense they have to go through every day. Being a fair man, they do have some good people working there. Promote them to the store manager when you can because they do not get even a job well done in that...

AVOID THIS LOCATION‼️‼️ I have been going to BJ's for years and this is the worst location. I went into this location for the 1st time ever today and it will be my last. The manager Vickie was called in for assistance by an associate and she did everything but assist. I had a coupon for easy ups downloaded in the app and I had the physical coupon from a mailing sent to me. Although I was purchasing the exact item on the coupon, the coupon was not working. The manager then proceeded to ask ME why the coupon was not working. Instead of Vickie trying to rectify the coupon issue she got an attitude at the checkout and refused to let me complete my purchase. She then asked the in-store police officer to put me out of the store. I was appalled and very upset. I have NEVER had any problems at BJ's. Usually the management will go above and beyond to help. Vickie is not fit for management. To deny a customer service because you did not like my tone of voice is unprofessional. Vickie kept asking me why the coupon did not work as of I would be able to provide viable answer. AVOID THIS LOCATION, the manager is EXTREMELY unprofessional.

In terms of savings, you can't beat BJ's prices and quality when comparing it to bodegas or your local supermarket. However, today I notice a new BJ's and granted I've been shopping here for a while now. The employees are more engaging. I was taken back when I was greeted and ask if I found what I was looking for or am I looking for something specific. 👍 I thought the BJ's employee was talking to someone else, so I had to look around. This is a wonderful change of experience. I gave three star because there are located on the lower mezzanine, and the elevators were out so if you need wheelchair accessible call customer service ahead of time to ensure the elevators are working.
