Bad intentions is absolutely the perfect name for this tattoo business I went in there today with my daughter for a service we were told over the phone to come at 5:30 it was almost 8 o’clock and we still wasn’t serviced they took people in front front of our appointment, also the receptionist is very rude unprofessional and on some type of medication or drugs they kept on lying to us repeatedly and we finally left after I turned up, after they Was being inconsiderate and not following Covid 19 guidelines. They are not cleaning the rooms after the services they are not wiping down the furniture with just the fact that some of the staff is wearing masks others have the mask below their nose in the waiting area was packed at least three times with eight people in that area. They did tell a group of young ladies to come in they didn’t take a temperature then I told him to wait outside and come back when they call, they came back and half of them were in the room before me and my daughter when we first got there we saw eight or nine people including a baby come out of one room with no sanitation protocols. I will contact the division of state board tattoo department of regulations and the health department they pushed me over my limit and then at the end wanted me to be courteous and professional I asked the manager and that Receptionist for my copy of my ID , because I didn’t get a service and they Refused multiple times , I recorded it and I will contact the state board of cosmetology. do not go to this place it is going to be a Covid hotspot I pray to God I don’t get sick the only reason I stayed with my daughter because I didn’t want to leave her there and I kept trying to encourage her to leave but that’s OK they got the right ones today do not visit this place be careful were you go I’m so glad she didn’t...
Read moreI truly believe they should change some customer service procedures but my overall experience was okay. I went in to get back dermal two days ago. When I went in the piercers room I quickly found out the person doing my piercings, did not speak English. I wish because of this they gave me an interpreter, so everything went more smoothly. After attempting to ask him questions, I quickly gave up and just stayed quiet throughout my procedure. After it was done, I noticed my dermals seemed a bit too low for my liking. I tried to tell the piercer this. But again, quickly gave up and thought that my judgment was wrong. After going home and trying different clothing on and looking at it, I more now, than before believed that my piercings were too low and decided I was going to go back in tomorrow. Upon my arrival, next day, after multiple employees told me they believe my judgment was correct. The last artist, told us that the piercings were in the right spot. In his words, “2 inches above the butt crack” (a generic rule when everyone has different bodies) & “because of a roll in your back”(which only tells me otherwise the piercer would have put them in another spot). I was then asked pay $60 to have them fixed. (I don't think I should have had to do so considering multiple people who work there agreed with me that the piercings were TOO LOW). I was placed again with the same artist (Still could not communicate effectively to him) & (He ended up placing them in the same spot as the “roll” perfectly). I...
Read moreVisited this shop with my sister & niece (called prior to arrival to inquire if a 17 y/o with a parental guardian and proof of ID etc., would be able to get a tattoo), informed we did not have an ID for her however had birth certificate & other items - was told OK and went to the shop. Once there, reiterated what was discussed, initially arrived with the impression that an exception would be made, begin to speak with the original gentleman who ultimately said no - disappointed but understandable (also learned NJ/NY law does not allow minors to be pierced or tattoo'ed, we're from MA so unaware prior to visit) in this time, another employee (female) arrived rudely & interjected into the conversation saying 'I'm not touching her' (referring to my niece) which was an unnecessary comment considering we were told no and now just having general conversation. Additionally, the man who we were having the initial conversation with as we were providing birth certificate and other items, said to my sister, 'oh that can't be your daughter she's light skin and you're not' - EXTREMELY EXTREMELY RUDE and gave a vibe that 'we' (all black women) were not welcome to the shop, & possibly if we were not of color, we would have been serviced/an "exception" would have been made. Very alarming experience and uncalled for attitude/statements. Grateful that if my niece were of age, we did not use their services. Poor first impression and will not be coming back for when she is legal to be...
