Updated 5 27.. went rhere rhe other day figuring they would still have thier gardens up so i can continue my macro photography and everything was torn down on the one side... kinda disappointing... GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH MY MACRO LEMS TODAY SO GLAD I TOOK MY DAUGHTER HERE SO I COULD CAPTURE ALOT OF COOL MACRO SHOTS OF BEES FLOWERS BUTTERFLIES AND MUCH MORE IM GONNA BE POSTING ALOT OF PICTURES TO THE PAGE AND MY FB LUCID DREAMZ PHOTOGRAPHY... HOPE YOU ENJOY THE PICTURES SOME CAME OUT BAD BUT I GOT ATLEAST 50 GOOD ONES...WENT BACK LAST NIGHT FOR SOME NOGHT MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY AND WOW WAS IT BETTER THAN DURING THE DAY OR MORNING... REALLY CANT WAIT TO GET MY BETTER FLASH AND LIGHT DIFFUSER TO COME SHOOT MORE SOON... The Lepidoptera Trail is worth the visit. Everything else seems to be off limits or not developed.

The trail has nicely arranged native plants and very well marked host plants for several varieties of caterpillars of moth/butterfly.

Unfortunately, there were only bees when we went, but the plants were there and really well marked. Placards were informative.

I personally loved the amount and variety if milkweed, though very few signs of Monarchs existed.

Anyway, beautiful, native, pollinator garden. We spent about 45 minutes here and it is right next to UD Creamery so a scoop of ice cream on the way out sweetens the deal.

Nice little hour long outing for families and maybe two hours for nature enthusiasts and...

It was a short stroll, nice for mother's day afternoon. The gardens did not appear to have been maintained very well. Several beds and display areas were not weeded or kept up with, but some also had actual trash around the bushes, trees, and flowers. Fortunately we had printed the map from the website before going - there are no clearly marked paths or entrance signs, and the separate gardens are surrounding buildings & parking lots. Fortunately there is no entrance fee. At least...
