This would have been my first official visit and I can say I’m not impressed. The owner seemed so vibrant when watching her on YouTube so I was shocked that she hired such a bitter dark soul to come and work for her. Backstory: Their site says they open Sundays till 5pm. I came one Sunday at 2pm and was disappointed because they were closed, not a holiday of course when I say closed as in lights out- no light up sign- gate DOWN closed. Although I was disappointed that Sunday, I decided to give them another try as I have been to many botanicas but wanted to experience from “my own” a few weeks later I came back and as I mentioned at the start of my review I was not impressed to the point where I had to stop shopping and check the google reviews again midway through shopping to make sure I’m buying from a reputable store. They always say not to purchase your spiritual products from a place where the vibe is off as that can affect what you’re manifesting.
Upon entering there was this one employee that would not let up, she was so angry from the start of shift until I left (as I came when they first opened). As I entered I overheard her talking to herself shouting “we just sell candles, we’re not doing anything special here”. I simply ignored and continued shopping. Another set of customers come in and ask this same employee for help as she’s mopping and she says to them “one second let me get someone else to help you, I’m mopping. I cannot mop and assist.” As she heads to the back to get the other lady which I’m assuming was the manager to go and assist these customers when the manager already told the girl Rose that she’s going to start working on orders. So the manager should multitask but you can’t ? The girl Rose could have AT LEAST checked what the customers wanted, it could’ve probably only taken 1 minute to answer their question! I ignored again as it was not directly related to me. Then comes my turn where I now have a question so I asked the same girl Rose if she can explain what a spiritual item was for and her response was “I mean I can’t make you buy it” while she’s walking away mumbling. I don’t recall asking anyone to make me buy anything, if you can’t explain things this may not be the job for you love. I can make the decision whether or not I would to buy once it’s explained to me. If you don’t know anything, say you don’t know anything or get someone that knows instead of giving such weak and rude response.
Once I had such interaction with her I went to put some items I planned to purchase back, as it ties into what I mentioned earlier. I couldn’t afford for certain of my works to be affected by this girl’s energy. Overall the price of the candles are decent. Bottom line, Cleanse your products if purchasing from here. Read moreMy most recent experience at this location is the reason why I will never return; due to the cashier being so rude. I wanted to stock up on a particular item that they did not have in store the last few visits. When I entered the cashier who is short overweight with an earring in her nose looked at me but did not say anything therefore I greeted her then asked did they have this certain item back in stock she replied "what? one minute." There was only one other employee working I've never had any issues with her and she was friendly when I visited in the past. However, she was on the phone taking care of business related matters from what I could hear, so I looked around the store with intentions of buying several additional items including the one that I originally came in for and found part of what I wanted on my own. Only one other shopper was in the store. The customer in front of me left the counter as I approached the register to do more shopping because she wasn't finished. The cashier looked at me yet did not offer help despite the fact that I asked her a question when I first came in. After a few minutes of me standing there goes by I asked "could you ring me up since she's not ready yet?" the cashier responds "one minute" then continues to ignore me. If it wasn't for the fact that the items I had are popular and hard to find I would have left without purchasing anything, I wanted them for a specific reason at that time.There were other products I wanted and could not find on my own but the cashier was dismissive and again did not offer any help so I lost interest in purchasing anything else. After having me stand there for several minutes unnecessarily the customer comes back and now she's ready to be rang up the cashier intentionally takes her sweet time making small talk being disingenuous saying oh you need anything else? Do you want this or that? etc; you know questions that she should be asking every customer. When the lady in front of me is done and it's my turn to pay, again the cashier is giving off negative energy for no reason. She avoided eye contact and only stated the price of the items, fyi it was two of the same product that I put on the counter she never asked did you find everything you needed? Do you still need help with the question that you asked? which, she never answered by the way.I took my business elsewhere in regards to the other stuff. On the way out her coworker had finished taking care of business on the phone unaware of what happened, said goodbye have a nice day as I exited the store. Only the cashier had an attitude causing the owner to lose some business. Also I did not get my receipt. Read moreOn June 24th, I placed an order on Yeyeo online platform, paying a significant amount for delivery. However, as of July 6th, I have not received any updates on the status of my order. Despite my attempts to contact your company through three emails and several phone calls, I have not received any communication/response. As a responsible customer, I diligently followed the instructions provided to request an update on my order, yet no assistance or update was provided by your team. During my conversation with Aria when I finally connected with the store, I explained my situation, but she insisted that the store is not responsible for order status inquiries and directed me to send another email. I told her that I’ve sent three and Arie’s response was the same. It took considerable effort on my part to escalate the matter to a manager. I was transferred to the store manager, Diamond. Unfortunately, Diamond clarified the same thing Arie already reiterated three times, that her role as a manager is to be clear and that she is not responsible in checking or assisting with anything related to orders. This entire experience has left me dissatisfied, and I have decided not to place any future orders with your company. The overall customer experience has been highly unpleasant. I will never order from here because it is not right that a customer is doing their part and what they get back is unpleasant services and a manager that only worries about clarifying what she is not responsible for.
Update on my review . I requested to cancel my order due to their extensive delays and they still did not fully refund me and charged me the 15% restock fee. No level of accountability. They do not care about their customers or their own company values, if they even have any. At the end you have to deal with their problems of understaff and delays because either way if you don’t they will still charge you. Money and pointing fingers at the customer is their priority. They are quick to take your money and blame you for requesting services they said they would provide ....
