AMAZING ALL ACROSS THE BOARD! FIRST OFF, I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT THE SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC! I BELIEVE THE KIND WOMAN WHO HELPED ME WAS RUBY, OR RUDY (I APOLOGIZE IF IM GETTING THAT WRONG, I AM PRETTY SURE HER NAME WAS RUBY, THOUGH!) SHE WAS SOO SWEET AND HELPFUL! ITS ALSO NICE TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE KITCHEN. THATS ALWAYS A GOOD SIGN, IMO. PLUS, IT ADDS SOME PIZZAZZ TO THE OVERALL APPEAL OF THIS CUTE LITTLE BURGER SHACK. I ACTUALLY ONLY NOTICED 'THE STAND' A FEW MONTHS BACK.. AND I THOUGHT IT LOOKED VERY CUTE AND IT WAS ALWAYS PACKED, BUT ALWAYS FORGOT ABOUT IT AS THERES A LOT OF EATERYS AROUND MY WORK AREA... RECENTLY, I LOOKED UP THE MENU ONLINE AND SAW HOW DELICIOUS THE FOOD APPEARED AND DECIDED I HAD TO TRY THIS PLACE! I ORDERED A STAND BURGER WITH A VEGGIE PATTY, AND MY GOODNESS! THAT WAS IN THE TOP 3 BEST VEGGIE BURGERS I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! THE PATTY WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! WELL BALANCED IN FLAVOR, TEXTURE, AND NUTRITION. MY ONLY ISSUE WITH IT MIGHT BE THAT IT SORT OF FELL APART, BUT HONESTLY, IT DIDNT BOTHER ME TOO MUCH.. BURGERS ARE ALREADY PRETTY MESSY TO EAT, SO IT WASNT A BIG DEAL, ESP. GIVEN THE FACT THAT THE FLAVOR WAS ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR! THE BURGER SAUCE WAS GREAT, JUST THE PERFECT AMOUNT OF SPICE! THE BUN SEEMED TO BE FRESHLY MADE (THAT DAY, NOT TO ORDER OBV LOL) AND THE FRIES WERE FANTASTIC TOO! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, FRESH, AND SEASONED TO PERFECTION! I SERIOUSLY COULDNT STOP SHOVING MY FACE, EVEN AFTER I WAS STUFFED TO THE BRIM!!! ALSO, THE PRICING IS VERY FAIR, BECAUSE THE BURGERS ARE A VERY DECENT SIZE, AND THE AMOUNT OF QUALITY FOOD YOURE GETTING IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. Stopped there today after online ordering. Couple walking in behind me had not ordered yet. My order wasn't ready. They order sat were served finished, and my online order was still not ready. There were a few delivery drivers from the various apps there with the same issue. Apparently, if you walk in and order, your order is preferred over online orders and food apps such as Uber and door dash. To make matters worse as I waited i noticed the person expediting an order to a table drop fries a few fries on the counter. The proper thing to do would have been to throw those few fries away. The expediter simply picked them up, put them on the plate and served them. I also noticed a food preparer who checked a sandwich that had a tomato on it. I suppose it should not have had the tomato on it. since, she took the tomato off and finished wrapping that sandwich. Now, what if that person had an allergy to tomatoes? Extremely unorganized and very disrespectful to people's time, as the Uber and door dash people were there for extended periods. I mean, those people make money on tips and time is of the essence. When ordering online, your order should be prepared n the order received, it's downright disgraceful to disrespect people's time and money the way this establishment apparently does. I won't go there again but i felt the public should know about this bad business model and the way they dropped food on a counter and still serve it and remove items from a sandwich instead of remaking not knowing if the client has an allergy or not to that item that was incorrectly put on...

Catered from The Stand Newport Beach for a work event with 200+ attendees and it was a hit! We did the build-your-own burger stations (which I was really hesitant about at first worried about delays/long lines) but with Deanna Kozlowski Ricker's planning, we had a great set-up with four multiple lines running simultaneously, so the flow actually worked really well.

If anything, I think next time we need to order more beef patties since I did not account for people doubling (and tripling) up on meat, so we ran out of meat towards the end and ended up with a lot of extra buns. We also ran out of burger sauce, ketchup, & lettuce towards the end, (we had a lot of people show up who did not RSVP, and while I had ordered extra to account for some of that, it's on me to order above what I had accounted for initially).

People also really loved the in-house fresh chips! That was great was a great suggestion from Deanna, so clutch. Great feedback on the classic turkey sandwiches and falafel wraps too. Greatly appreciate all of Deanna 's help with this every step of the way.. we had a lot of dietary restrictions/concerns--Deanna helped us set-up a Gluten-Free table too. We even had to move the date up by a few days with very little notice due to schedule changes on our end, and Deanna made it all happen for...
