Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came in on Tuesday night with family to celebrate my niece's 12th birthday. My sister and brother-in-law and their two daughters are HUGE fans of this establishment and the lovely, health oriented style menu. My sister's family is gluten free, and they have very strict dietary requirements. This place fulfills that, but also delivered incredibly tasty and wonderfully light dishes. Basically, the menu is organized by style of dish and then you have various selections of proteins to add to it, or just keep it simple and eat vegan. The feel/vibe of this place is very chilled out, relaxed, peaceful, and very colorful with a youthful energy. Lots of super cool art on the walls everywhere. The service is top notch too. My sister can be very selective when it comes to properly prepared food and the staff had no problem making sure everything was excellent and to everyone's satisfaction. My dish was called the Forbidden rice bowl with black rice and other grains. Fresh snap peas, veggies, and chicken. It was to die for!! So perfect in balance of tastes and prepared wonderfully. I didn't know if I could finish it all because it was a rather large bowl. But so yummy I couldn't stop. I finished it no problem. If you're into light, healthy, clean eating then this is the place for you!! š¤š I will certainly be back, and they conveniently have a take out as well, should you be on the run like myself....

This was our first time here, so after studying the menu, we decided to start off with their avocado hummus, ordered gluten-free, with fresh vegetables to dip with, instead of the typical pita bread. There were slender strips of red bell pepper, broccoli florets, sugar snap peas, and sliced thin carrots, yellow & white, to dunk with. Avocado hummus was creamy & delicious and veggies were fresh & crisp.
For my main course, I ordered a Teriyaki Shrimp & Avocado Bowl, served with organic brown rice, bok choi, cauliflower, snap peas and shitaki mushrooms. Shrimp came out fresh, hot & flavorful, and the rice & steamed veggies were tasty. All complimented eachother. Great dish! I ordered a side of Yukon Gold Smashed Potatoes for $6. This side was good, but way too much for me to finish. I ate slightly less than half this side, before tapping out. You could easily split this side dish.
I got a pint of Modern Times Orderville Hazy Mosaic IPA to wash it all down with.
I like how they decorated the inside of this place, as it was colorful & cheery. We ate on their outside patio, which has tables comfortably spaced, with both overhead & stand heaters provided, plus bistro lights draped above us, to illuminate this outdoor...
