Corona Del Mar Plaza — Attraction in Newport Beach

We love to dine at Tommy Bahamas in the Corona del Mar Plaza. We came in at about 3 p.m. for a late lunch early dinner and we were seated immediately on a Saturday. This restaurant has been completely remodeled with high ceilings, Breezy open doors to the sidewalk and Patio, and a great rectangular bar sitting right in the middle of the restaurant. Aside from the relaxing beachy elegant atmosphere the food is always divine. I had the crab and avocado salad and my husband had the filet mignon salad but that was not the the only star in the show. We ordered the grilled scallop sliders to start with and honestly I've never tasted a more tender juicy fresh from the ocean scallop in my life. The blue crab was good fresh but a little lacking in flavor however the salad underneath it was delicious. And finally our server Maureen was excellent. Just the right friendliness and attentiveness and anticipated our needs before we asked. Afterwards we took a stroll on the Beach ending a perfect Saturday afternoon in Newport...

Great shopping with lots of options. Gulf Stream has great outdoor and indoor seating. You can see their homemade vegetable garden right out the window. The food is delicious. Love the vegetable platter and the shrimp cocktail is very fresh and delicious.

Tommy Bahama has a good restaurant right next door with a clothes store. The outdoor seating area is cozy with a pond.

Bristol Farms is always busy - it’s wide aisles make shopping easy. The customer service is excellent

I’m looking forward to the stir fry custom ordered meals to reopen soon.

The signature Bristol farms cookie 🍪 is delicious.

The other shops are interesting with clothing and the delicious sprinkles cupcake store.

Parking can be tough - try parking on the library side of Bristol farms.

Is the food was five star excellent I am a big time foodie I travel all up the coast trying different seafood restaurants and this was a beautiful dish I had the red snapper with the macadamia nut and crust on it and it had a wasabi reduction sauce the blue crab bisque was excellent and the calamari on top of the bed of cabbage and that sweet chili sauce was just excellent my friend had the coconut shrimp you get a nice portion he got 10 shrimp on top of with asparagus in the coleslaw it was beautiful we had a Mai Tai and pineapple margarita I think it was everything was just excellent I highly recommend anybody when you're down by Corona del Mar Laguna Beach go to this place nice seating outside the atmosphere is lovely and...
